Well, the PM was from someone called Joker...

I must've registered back in October, altho i never posted..

then having forgotten obviously..i registered a few weeks ago, to ask on the GG forum about batteries...but instead of banning the inactive account, they banned the one i'd been posting on ???

Took me ages to realise what'd happened..

Sorry to hear that, Anne. J0ker is a friend of mine and a nice guy, he wouldn't ban anyone for a trivial reason.

No one is allowed to have more than one account on ECF, since you had two, they deleted the newest account.

I think that they understood what happened and that it was a mistake on your part, otherwise you would have either received an infraction or had both of your accounts and yourself banned.

Jerry. I'm scratching my head about how Lilac can get round this? If she hasn't posted under her original id, she isn't going to have PM rights to contact Joker & of course can't do so under her banned id.

Off to check out Scylla's post & see if I can find an email addie for Lilac to contact jOker or another mod/admin with.

I did get an infarction, Jerry, and the account closed, but i'm able to use the original one, cos i musta set it up the same, only i couldn't use Lilac, when i was setting up the newer one as i was already using it... so used Lilacsurf instead...

but the email n pass were the same, so it's okay, just a bloody nuisance as i wanted to post on Smokejuice thread this afternoon, but will have to wait till i've made 5 posts again...

Jerry, i did see the work 'infraction' somewhere this afternoon, in a PM, tbh, i thought it was someone taking the P, until i read the banned bit in another....can't see it now as it just says account closed...

As long as they don't bloomin ban my original one, all should be fine tho, the only notification i've had on that is this...

Anne, I have not received any infractions...yet, but I believe that infractions work on the points system. You get so many points and you are out of the ECF.

J0ker has a great sense of humor, so don't take his PM too seriously as it sounds to me like a lot of it was tongue in cheek.

Don't worry about it, I'm sure that they know that you weren't trying to pull the wool over their eyes.

If you want me to look into it and try to get a clarification for you, let me know.
