Hi, I am new to all of this, have been using E Lites for the last 8 days but im not finding them too reliable. I found this forum and have been reading most of the day! I think after reading many posts im going to try the Riva. Do i need to get anything else to go with the starter kit? I have been reading about cartomisers, clearomisers and a million other bits and bobs and totally confused ??? Hopefully it will all become clear soon and i will laugh about this post! Thanks anyone Maggie

Hi Maggie and welcome. My first ever post on this forum was titled "soooooo confused"
The Riva kit will get you up and running provided you buy some juice to put in it. Go for a selection of 5ml bottles to start, various flavours, and you will find a world of difference to the e-lites

A proper hello & welcome to you Maggie The Riva is a far superior e-cig to the e-lites & all you will need to add to the kit is some e-liquid You can also use the e-liquid to refill the cartomisers (tips) you got with your elite to at least get a bit more use out of it

You will need some juice to go with the kit Maggie.
Might be best to go with the pick n mix as can choose a variety.
dont forget to use discount code allabout for 10% off total order. And free shipping on orders over £40.
BTW..... #welcome2# along and you will so love the riva compared to the elites.

Hi Maggie, and welcome to the forum. I'm quite new to all this too, only started vaping a few weeks ago, but I've just taken delivery of a Riva starter kit and its fantastic, so easy to use. Just buy some juice and away you go. Everyone here is really friendly and full of great advice so just ask away and you'll soon get to know what everything is.

I started with this kit - www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151I still use it for taking to work with me, fantastic starter kit and a bonus that you get a clearomiser + cartomisers so it lets you try both The Grizwalds pick n mix section on the same site is a nice place to start as far as e-juices go (just ordered a bunch more of them myself earlier tonight )

Thanks everyone! The juice is confusing me too.. why all these sweet flavours? I cant imagine smoking a cherry/ caramel/ coffee cigarette!! Do you still get the taste of nicotine mixed with the flavour you choose? Sorry if im being blonde!

Hi Maggie, and welcome to the forum My advice would be to get the starter kit, and worry about the rest later. I bought this riva kit just over a week ago, and it seems like I've had it all my life it comes with 2 batteries, a charger, a CE4 clearomiser tank, 5 cartomisers, a metal driptip, an ego cone, and 10ml of juice, all of which fits nicely into the case provided. I have been using e-cigs just over a month, and have been learning and progressing as I've gone along. If you are looking to see what juices you like, the Oasis sample pack is a good place to start (found here www.miragecigarettes.co.uk/shop/oasis-e-liquid-sample-pack.html), it has 32 flavours in 2.5ml bottles, and will give you an idea of the flavours that best suit your tastes (although I would say that many flavours will taste different from different suppliers, so don't use the sample pack as a hard and fast guide to the flavours). I have now gone on to order quite a few different flavours, tanks and other accessories based on my experience, and the advice of others from this forum. Keep an eye on the Vendors section, as there are often new discounts and offers posted.

I thought this too at 1st, but have to say I now prefer the fruit and sweet flavours to tobacco flavours. You will get a slight nicotine taste in some juices, but not all, and many will also provide a good throat hit. As with everything in the vaping world, it's a case of trial and error, and finding what suits you best

Maggie the beauty of vaping is that you don't have to stick to tobacco flavours. I'm vaping ginger toffee as I type this, yum

That is exactly what most folks think to begin with, so you aren't being at all blonde, Maggie It's almost impossible to get an e-liquid that tastes like a burning cigarette & after a while many folks prefer a completely different taste. The non tobacco flavoured juices still contain nicotine at whatever level suits you.

Thanks, Will the Riva deliver a good throat hit or is that down to the juice?

Throat hit is down to many things, but the riva kit with the right juices will give a great hit, and loads of vapor. I have found that different flavours give a different throat hit, as do different levels of nicotine
