I trust you gave your carto the send off it deserved Ian, after it's sterling service. Incredible really for what was intended to be a disposable, one week of use item.

I know Perpy,i never thought it was gonna die.Dont get me wrong the LR effet was lost after about 2weeks,and it went down to the service of a good standard resistance carto for the next two weeks before dying.I really am very impressed with these cartos though. Most attys dont even last me that long and they are more expensve to.

What is the difference between Low Resistance and Regular/Standard and why do you boil them?

The Low Resistance atties (whether ordinary 901/510/etc atties or cartomisers) burn hotter so give a stronger vape - but you mustn't use them with battery over 3.7v, or they will be killed Having said that, when they get weak you can put them on a 5v device to eke out their lives a bit longer. The cartomisers get clagged up with constant refilling (we refill them more than was ever intended, I reckon) - Ian and others have found that boiling them cleans them out and gives them a new lease of life. It didn't work for me. I boiled a lot and the first 2-3 I tried remained dead - that's quite a lot of juices wasted in each carto so I haven't kept trying. But Ian's had great success scylla

And you shouldn't use LR's with batteries under a certain oomphage Clutter, 400mAH . . . I think that Riva is calling to you.

I cant understand why no one else seems to be having success with boiling CARTOS.I boil 510 cartos every week and it always works ??? Also,if you have a butchers on you tube, many people are doing the same and having the same results as me???How very strange. I started a thread on the subject, but now feel a bit of a dick coz everyone else seems to have no joy when they try it?I hope one day that it works for someone else,i am totally stunned that it has not coz i have about 95% success with boiling cartos. I have learned now though,NEVER boil attys coz its a waste of time, never seems to work. Bloody hell, what a hobby.Atleast when you smoke you dont have to boil your fags In saying that,i have gone about 6-7 months now without a relapse, when i first started i would vape and smoke roll ups to.DARK DAYS.

I never liked them Perpy either, but now i am a total convert. ???I cant even get round to using an atty coz these things just keep going and going :)Still got countless brand new 510s to use and also 7 LR 901s awaiting a blast 8-)I would have had even more, but gave my dad about 10 attys at xmas to keep his stocks up. I am not complaining though, sometimes doing crazy stuff does pay off.lol, not looking forward to the next electric bill, though i doubt i drain the grid boiling the odd pan of cartos

... feel a bit of a dick... No! Seriously, though - you obviously have the knack. I now have some even more tasteless juice than usual so I'm going to give a couple more of my boiled cartos a try when the 901 on my PT dies - I didn't throw them away, it's just that every time you refill a carto and it doesn't work, that's the juice gone for a burton. Did I say that already? Spect so scylla x

What cartos are you using Scylla? When i first started boiling them i was boiling KR8s and 510s.The KR8s came out more or less dead and the 510s were fine ???Dont know why this is at all. Which carto did you boil Perpy that turned out alright? I dont get on at all with the KR8s,coz you fill them up battery end using condom method and they never vape well as compared to a 510 which i fill cap end/drip tip end down into the juice and they vape perfect and boil perfect to.I dont think the KR8 should be sold personally as for me it always falls short.I still have a few but never bother with them as they are so poor. As for the 901 LR carto,i still need to try those as ive heard they are pretty good. But if you are boiling 510s Scylla then i cant see any reason why it should not work for you ???After a boil and dry i simply add 9 maybe 10 drops of juice to the carto and leave a minute to soak in,then vape again.

OH.Put my foot in it now havent i :-[ Not meaning to slate the 808 Scylla, but i find them un-usable and most definately un-boilable.I am 99.9% sure that boiling a 510 carto would work for ya Scylla.I am interested which carto Perpy had success with now,i honestly cant remember ??? Isnt the 808 basically the name for a 901 carto?I have never actually seen anywhere selling standard 901 cartos ???

The 808 does have a 901 fitting, though an adapter is req'd for it to work with some batteries - otherwise it won't draw. It was the first carto that was available, I got it from iVapour-Elixir with Creative batteries - then I bought cheaper ones from elsewhere (some of those were 510s which I got the electric shocks from), then recently Toby had the 808s on offer so I bought some more but they're rather dried out As you know I do love the delrin drip-tips with cartos but I haven't ordered any cartos from Perpy because I thought I'd better economise... you'll make me change my mind if you are not careful scylla
