But wouldn`t it make it more complicated for a newbie?
We all suggest buying a 510 device because most other stuff is compatible, then we start saying to buy a 901 atty, and "adapter". My personal thought, is, cheap and cheerful 510 atty, just for testing juices, to save the clearos and cartos for when they find their favourites.
Once they reach a more advanced level, and ask why the atty isnt performing as it was, then guide towards something better, maybe a rebuildable.
I`m simply trying to help these new guys who are joining every day, to be ready for when their kit and juices drop through the letterbox and they say, so what do i use, "clearo or carto"

I don't know that I would suggest, with the choices now on the market to someone beginning their vaping journey to buy a dripping atomiser as well Brian . . . once they've got to grips with the basics and have a better understanding of the equipment, then yes.
The question seems to get asked after someone has been vaping for a little time and has got to grips with the vaping elementary's?

I found this thread after searching for a dripping atomiser. I bought a basic 510 atty with my starter kit and am now looking for something a bit better. I'm wondering whether it's worth spending more on the vh dripper - vapourhut.com/atomisers-cartomisers/Rebuildables/VH-Dripperor the cheaper bud atomiser - www.safercigs.co.uk/BUD__Tank_Atomizer/cat705284_844680.aspxI like the idea of the bud as it sounds easier to clean and change flavour. I'm just not sure if it's better to pay a bit more for something that's better quality. the main reason for wanting a new atty is the 510 one I have seems to hold flavours after a change and I'm forever cleaning it out - hence me edging to the bud atty. any advice would be great

I would recommend the VH Dripper, much easier to take apart and clean, also easy to rewick/coil if you cannot get rid of a taste. The Buds are sealed, you cannot get at the wick/coil easily it is meant to be a clearomiser/tank not a dripper whereas the VH dripper is made for purpose and if the coil goes pop it is easy to make another so could last a lifetime and is cheap to maintain rather than throw away.

+1 for the VH Dripper (also known as the Big Dripper or Phoenix on other vendor's sites)

THIS looks even better for the same price, you car adjust the airflow.

interesting. Will the variable airflow adjust the amount of vapour or how tight the draw is? the amount of choice out there is bewildering.....but very interesting

The vision eternity atty is nice for dripping too............. very easy to put together although I know that blakey in his review mentioned problems with leaking ................ but I've not had any problems with it
