Hello ands thanks everyone.Ive been vaping for a week and a bit and really without reading all the advice on here I wouldn't have had a clue(or jacked it in).I done the usual skycig route which was useless--battery life etc etc.I'm a long term heavy smoker and though i'm still having a couple a day, the amount I have cut out is unbelievable--In fact friends and family don't actually believe me lol.I got myself a couple of ego batteries and clearo tubes from that e-wizard bloke these I find work really well.I know theres better but I don't know enough yet.Still abit daunted by the VV etc,but im persevering lol. Just one question for now can someone explain what the pg% thingy in the juice is all about--I just can't get my head around it.

Hi suede #welcome2#
Higher PG % usually means more throat hit, higher VG more vapour.
Sometimes one or the other (usually PG) causes some sort of reaction, usually temporary. I found it useful to have a pure VG available in my first couple of weeks.

Hi and Welcome suede.
PG = propylene glycol. Thinner than VG so less vapour, but throathit is stronger.
VG = vegetable glycerin. Clouds of vapour compared to PG, and sweeter taste. It does however need to be diluted at about 10% with vodka or distilled water due to the very thick consistency, but this is only if mixing own juices.
Most guys tend to vape their liquids at around 70-30% PG/VG or 80-20% PG/VG.
I find i get itchy with PG so regularly take an anti-histamin to counter this.

100% vg gives loads of vapour, but most people don't like the taste. in my experience a lot of people prefer 50 - 70% pg, which still gives plenty of vapour. after that some people find various amounts of pg or vg can give them different mouth feel, or dry throat, or some other physiological effect. they may then vary the pg/vg ratio around that. hopefully you're not allergic to either.

Is that enough info for you suede?
If you are mixing your own juice (or thinking of it) then there is lots more you'll want to know. Otherwise you'll probably trust the juice supplier to get the right mix for their flavour, and just vary it if you get some sort of reaction.
