I've seen steeping mentioned a lot over the last day or so. What is this ? Just resting to improve flavour ? How long ? Top on or top of ? the bottles not me I have Liquorice and menthol which are already nice but if I can make them even nicer then it would be a bonus. Thanks

Yeah, basically just resting to allow acidic and chemical undertones to dissipate and for the different ingredients to bind together. There are a few described methods and the one I use is to loosen the lids ( not remove ) and place in a dark cupboard for 2 days, then tighten the lids to shake on the third day, loosen lids and back to the cupboard, I repeat this for 2 cycles and 90% of the juices I use are ready, tobacco juices particularly with more than one flavouring get 3 cycles. The hardest part of vaping if you ask me But SO worth it. Edited to add:- always keep eliquids out of reach of children particularly because of the loose lids during steeping

You can speed the steeping process Balllsy by placing your bottle in a cup/bowl of warm water, or zapping it in the microwave for a few seconds.
Although I find the difference in flavour, is as you would get from a ' forced ' fruit or vegetable, rather than one allowed to mature naturally.

Menthol should be fine without steeping.
Though I am prepared to be shot down, but as its just crystals mixed with PG/VG there isnt really much that needs combining, not like when different flavours are mixed.

I give the bottle a good shake, then take the top off, then leave in a cupboard draw for a day.
Then put the lid back on and leave for another 6 or 7days in the same draw.
It's no problem provided you've got plenty of juice. That way you've always got some steeping and some ready to vape. So make sure at some point, you put in a large order of juice to allow for steeping. (juice you know your gonna like)

Question do I have to steep dekang juice? All the dekang juice comes on slowboat from China so will already have had plenty of time to steep, but no harm in loosening the lid for 24 hours
