I live in an area where, up until recently, several illicit stills were in production. All of them, while trying to imitate Scotch Whisky, were actually producing Moonshine. So what is the difference?. Well no spirit can be labelled Scotch Whisky unless it has been Made in Scotland and then aged in an Oak Barrel for a minimum of 3 years. Having said that, Moonshine is by no means harsh or undrinkable and indeed some of the ones I have tried were, in my opinion, better than those that were sold as Scotch Whisky.
My point here is “in the name”. Both Scotch Whisky and Moonshine are both made by roughly the same means and the only real difference is that one must be aged before it can be called a whisky, whilst the other is never aged and therefore can never be called a whisky. Ofcourse there is the small matter of the other difference. One will give you a nice warm glow and the other will land you in the jail, but that aside, they are both excellent products.
I have now bought e-juice twice from different vendors who both proclaimed their mixtures are “Freshly Made to Order” and on both occasions vaped them shortly after they arrived only to find them and sadly lacking in taste and in need of aging.
Other vendors can make and sell e-juice that is fit for purpose as soon as I take them out the envelope and to me; these have been properly prepared and aged and can be rightfully called E-juice.
Just because something is “fresh” does not mean that it is any better than anyone else’s and in e-juice terms, if it is not a useable e-juice and should not be called so. Perhaps Moon-juice would be a better name, signifying to all who bought it that it needs to be aged before attempting to vape it.

That brings back memories Lobeydosser. Last time I had a drop of that was 30 years ago in Inverness I can still feel the headache. But it is a very good point though

It is a good point however i'd rather buy something that's freshly mixed and i know i can keep it to one side for a good long while without anything happening to it than getting something that may have been mixed say 6 months ago at least if i buy fresh mixed i know it's going to have to be steeped - but on the other side of the coin if it's a flavour that i like and i know i'm going to have it vaped in a few days then sure premade is the way to go - Horses for courses

Did the vendors websites recommend steeping for a while?

Yes. Because virgin vapors is mixed to order.
I found vapology didn't need a silly amount of time to steep. Quite flavoursome after 3 days.
