Hello, noob in need of some advice

I know where you're coming from; I was on rollies too.

I use the RIVA kit and have some minis for work. So far, so good apart from over-vaping with a mini nova on the RIVA.

I think I'm going to stick to the carts and my 2 dozen juices.

I have to carry a PCC for the minis, they can't do a whole day.

my kit and liquids should be arriving today or tomorrow. I sort of know how to fill the carto's but I can't find any videos to explain the atomiser, specifically to test out liquids before filling a cartomiser.

if someone could explain what I have to do to test my liquids that would be great

Hi smoothnshiny

The atomiser will just screw on the battery, drip 3-4 drops inside it, put the drip tip (mouth piece) on top of the atomiser, press the button on the battery and inhale. Simples.

Just a tip, don't over tighten any of the cartos, atomisers, clearos.... on to your batteries. You only need to make contact with the centre post of the battery. If you over tighten things you can push the centre post down in to the battery (we've all done it). It's no train wreck but a bit of a PITA to pull it back up again, If (or when ) you do this, there's a video in the hints and tips section showing you how to get it back up and running again.

thanks for the quick reply. I'm now ready to go....as soon as my stuff arrives. I'm actually getting excited about giving up smoking

Don't put pressure on yourself to give up immediately. Get your vaping going sort out what juice/ strength you like and you will find your dependency on cigarettes should diminish naturally. Most don't even realise they are relying less on stinkies.

yeah, that was my plan. gonna get used to vaping first, don't want to end up stuck at work with no juice or a flat battery and no ciggies. so I'm just gonna carry both until I feel that I can leave the fags out completely....hopefully

apparently, yes, but I'm stuck at work till 5.30 and with cooking dinner and other stuff (got a 6 week old baby boy at home) I won't get to try it till the football's on this evening. still I should hopefully be able to watch it without going to the garden for a smoke

Glad to hear it's arrived, even if you wont be able to try it out until tonight

The batteries will come with a factory charge, so you can use one straight away while fully charging the other battery

well, I've tried cappuccino and banana and am really impressed. got a nice throat hit from the vapour and a bit lightheaded from vaping a bit too much over a short space of time.

all in all I'm pleased and think that giving up smoking will be quite pleasant. looking forward to trying cherry and ry4......and purchasing some more flavours.

Pleased to hear you're enjoying your new kit and juices

up your water intake, it'l help your head, some juices containing a lot of PG can be a bit dehydrating!

I have been quite thirsty so naturally gravitated to water so the flavours weren't tinted by the drink I had, lol.

out of interest, the bung that's stuck in the end of a new cartomiser, should that be replaced after filling if the carto you filled is for storage. I'm assuming you'd put the storage caps back on too?

I do this, but the main thing is to put the condoms back on.

I leave the bungs in so I can have a quick try of a flavour to see if I'm in the mood. If I am, off it comes and a proper tip goes on.

See if you can get some small/tester bottles.

I bought 20ml cherry and only use it for sweetening. On it's own (well, the dekang one anyway) it's quite a challenge.
I'm sure there are better cherries out there. ???
