Ooooooh! my hero piper1 .... there's nothing stirs the blood more than listening to the pipes and drums, it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up with pride.. and sets my feet to tapping. I used to play the Piano Accordian many moons ago. I've always promised myself I'll take it up again somehow someday... but jeeeeez! do you see the price for a half decent box nowadays !  |

Being serious now, I love to listen to the bagpipes, they have an air of stately distinction about them and the sound they make is unique. Being of Scottish descent, I was brought up listening to bagpipes playing, first records, then cassettes as Dad was a great lover of them.
I used to play the piano, but can't read music!

I'm a music teacher for our local authority. I play jazz piano as my first instrument, but also teach keyboard. In addition, I teach and play samba, so a repinique en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repinique is my main instrument, although I obviously play the whole range of Brazilian instruments. Any other sambistas out there? |
