Great minds Mrl . . . I've just started a thread about that very thing . . . I also was very disappointed to see the hostile reaction provoked by reasonable debate on the subject. You have to bear in mind, the other forum is affliated to some UK suppliers, plus a number of their members do recieve, FOC in some instances, vaping devices to test. Oh i wasnt aware of that , that does quite explain the reaction to the thread ! Cheers for solving that mystery for me  |

Perps - so far so good with all my bits. Haven't tired the LR 901s yet, but great guns with the new 510s.   Chrissie, glads to hear that the car thingie works. Perps bashed me over the purse and made me get one -  However, little prob when I tried to give mine an outing - I needed to have my Satnav working - which of course required the cig lighter socket! :-[ Of interest, did anyone/ has anyone, ordered and used a Riva kit from Eastmall? Is it identical to the LF one? |

Thanks Chrissie - had no idea any such gadget existed. But from that link have just ordered this one - £3.75 and free delivery. cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150364495798 - cheap as chips - no idea if it will work, but at that price I won't have a hissie if it doesn't. Lol Hanow, I've no idea if it will work either  I've learnt a fair bit about amps, mAh & voltage since vaping but still get stumped with something like this. I'm guessing, but could be very wrong, that if you just directly plug your GD PT into the USB slot on that splitter it won't work? But maybe if you still buy the the EM 2amp USB car adapter & plug that into the splitter it might work? |

Hanow, I've just enlarged the pic of the one you bought & your GDPT won't work via plugging it into the USB port on it as it only has a 500mA output. You need at least 2000mA.

Hanow, I've checked out all the splitters available from UK sellers & none of the USB ports in them are more than 500mA. Some state the USB output in the description. The one you have bought, if you enlarge the pic, you can just make out the numbers 500 under the USB slot.
There is a chance it might work though if you plug one of the EM adapters into one of the roundy slots.

Not yet hun... but will get around to it eventually - am using the 510's though; very nice! BTW, the 510 adapter doesn't screw into the indulgence either! I'd hung on to it just in case but will send it back to you for inspection. It looks like the thread has been badly cut and it's just too narrow to catch. Interesting thing is... it screws into the 901 adapter! But it only catches on the very last thread. Sean |
