I'm completely clueless on anything electrical, so please excuse my ignorance, but I'm thinking of asking a sparky mate to make me a tube mod once I have a suitable tube, and while he may well know the answer anyway, where can I source the plastic insulator bits that go in the top with the brass pin connection through them?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can be arsed to answer.

All I'm looking to do is replicate my Bolt and hopefully coerce my dad into making me the case by drilling out some metal bar, preferably in SS, as it looks to me who knows pretty much nothing to be quite a simple mod to make (by other people who have a vague idea what they're doing). I don't even know what to search for in Google to find those plastic bits though.

Great offer Warlord, thanks very much.
I'm not sure it's a PCB I actually want, as it just looks from the underneath like a plastic bung with a brass pin through the middle that separates the wiring from the battery.
If I knew what I was talking about it'd be easier to describe...

That's pretty much spot on to be honest its a piece of plastic with a brass pin through it a piece of plastic cut to the right size will be fine in there as to the brass - you can get brass battery screws on ebay that you can solder to for the positive post - As to the plastic see if you can find out the thickness order a small sheet and cut to size

I don't want to pull it apart myself as I don't have a soldering iron to be able to put it back together when I break it, and there is no doubt I will, so I'll get my sparky to do it and then he can replace anything that breaks. It might all be pie in the sky as it would be dependent on my dad doing me a tube and he may well tell me that it'll cost him a fortune for him to set one of his machines up to do just one (or ideally, several) of these. Thanks for the advice, I'll go and do a bit more poking around and begging. Try dropping Garry Dibley a pm. He might have just what you want in his junk boxes. I might well be up for that meet, so if you could let me know the date and time at some stage it would be appreciated, as I'd like to meet some experienced vapers.

I am not sure if I am cross wires here but are you looking for the battery to atty connector or something to fit it in if its to fit it in try using a coin drilled out to fit the connector then cut/file/grind to fit to the mod and seal it with some hot glue
