I have been sick and tired of worrying whether I will have enough batteries charged to last a day when I am at work or in the car or whatever, so I thought I would try a 'USB Pass-through' (Powers the E-Cig via a wire instead of a battery). You can get these for 901's or 510's ( eg OkSmokey). Great idea - only problem is that you can't use a charger to power them, only a PC - you need about 1.8 Amps at 5v. You can get adapters which will plug into the mains or one that will fit your car socket but make sure it can supply at least 2 Amps. You'll find them on E-Bay!
Happy Vaping (I haven't touch a cig since November 2010!!)

I've looked at pass throughs myself but came to the conclusion that if you can find a battery big enough, you have no need for 1. I use a 1100mah ego-c twist and only on rare occasions can I get it to go flat before the end of the day.
Lava tubes can be over 2000mah I doubt even the heaviest vaper could bring one of them down in a day.
Something else to consider is the nic strength. If you find your always vaping, up your dosage and you should vape less which would save battery power, liquid, your cash and make your attys last longer.

Er- Many a time :-[ Infact I can nail two of these with ease The passthru's are great though if you go for a vv ego passthrough battery, it will run from any usb and charge while you're using it as well as run as a normal ego battery when you are away from a power source

I have used both of THESE pass throughs on a PC, laptop and also on a 1A USB cigraette lighter adapter in the car with no issues whatsoever.

I've charge my ego passthrough using the wire and a phone USB charger worked fine and charged well.

I use a ego passthrough and love it. Started with joytech automatic batteries and had to change/charge throughout the day. It got annoying quickly. Now I just have one 1000mha ego passthrough. I think its a great option for people on a buget, I didn't have to buy a seperate charger and one battery works great. I have a usb car charger for my phone, one in the house and im usually plugged in when im at the computer. Im never away from a power point long enough to run the battery down. No problems in over a month of useing it. And it has the higher voltage setting if you want it. I even have a fold up solar panel and 12v gell battery for survival mode
