Um....Cardiff? In this case anyway. Usually they breed from their idiot parents, but I'm sure individual personality has something to do with it.

I've been texting people who live in Canton/Ely and the surrounding area. All my friends and family are safe.....but it's still awful....my heart and head goes out to the injured.

You know, just yesterday I was walking my dog and I had one of those silly paranoid thoughts which comes from too lively an imagination. I imagined the car driving past me had instead suddenly swerved onto the pavement and mowed me and my dog down, just because he/she was in a murderous mood, and I was imagining what I would do, if I would have the time to quickly leap over a fence or wall or climb up a lampost, what I could do to save my dog etc....all these thoughts....but then I concluded that I was being a paranoid tit and such things very seldom happen, especially in Cardiff.....

Only in some states. But I love the fact that in the others he'd get maybe 50 years for each of the 12 counts and be sentenced to 600 years in prison

Never been one for the death penalty though, can't fight evil by doing evil, 2 wrongs don't make a right and all that, besides I always think it's a pointless debate for this country, they will never bring it back, not while we're part of Europe anyway....

But as Oneday says I do like the fact that they have very very long prison sentences in America

Thanks hun. It's such a small place, Cardiff..I have friends who live on Grande Avenue, one of the places the white van man struck...

I'm not massively into the death penalty, Ellen....but I am fond of the idea of vigilante justice - ie. getting revenge on your rapist/abuser etc, since the law very seldom does the job (specially in rape cases)....but I'm aware that the line between vigilante justice and idiot mob is a very fine one....so not very constructive. Who knows what can be done about such inhuman pyscho bastards.
