Ethyl Maltol

I have some Ethyl Maltol made up and ready for use.

I have made a cappuccino 50/50 PG/VG mix which is "almost there" but I feel that the addition of some Ethyl Maltol would just hit the spot, however I am not sure how much to add.

The mix I have made is only 10ml and I am thinking of splitting this into 2 x 5ml bottles.

Can anyone suggest how much I should try to add to 5ml?

I'd suggest starting with 3 and then go up from there, if the 3 don't do what you'd like them to Lobey.

Sorry to sound like a numpty, but I presume you mean 3 drops?

The original mixing kit I bought came with a 70PG/30VG mix but the made up e-juices that I normally buy are 50/50 PG/VG and so anything I made up did not quite hit the mark.

A couple of days ago I got some new PG and VG and made up the same juices again but this time 50/50 and they are so close to what I was buying that I am quite amazed.

Only the Cappuccino needs a little bit of sweetening.

So tonight I am a happy Bunny. #icon_thumbsup#

Just to throw something into the mix (pun intended) ethyl maltol is a great sweetener but it has. candyfloss undertones, worth getting some of the stevia mix too for different results, up to you and as the saying goes if it aint broke....

I probably will Skwoddy, but as this is only my third mixing session, I will have to leave something for the missus to buy me for my christmas.

I will get all these things eventually and the stevia is on the list.
We actually have some stevia in the house, but it is mixed with other plant extracts and is not the pure stuff that I can get through the members here.

Here ya go Brian was covered not so long back, stevia is massively sweet though, 3 drops is considered too much in an 8oz glass of lemonade

You have to remember the Stevia concentrate is mixed by you so all strengths will be different. Mine is mixed at 16ml pg and 4ml Stevia so pretty strong and looking at the amount i have used it will last forever.

Anyone buying Stevia, I would advise that they buy the powder form not the liquid, and get it directly from Paraguay.
