Hi everyone just thought I would introduce myself. I have been smoking 45 years and want to finally kick this horrible habit. I did stop for 6 months then made the stupid mistake of thinking one won't do any harm Wrong!!!!. I am now ready to go to try vaporing full time.

First off, how many ciggies do you smoke a day & do you mind that your e-cig doesn't look like a real cig?

Thank you all for the very warm welcome, I smoked 20 a day, Wow! I don't believe I just said that (smoked, pass tense ) the hardest part for me is persuading hubby to do the same so there is no temptation staring at me. I have just bought an ego c mini with a few flavours and a cartomizer system as a starting point, I hope I have done the right thing.

Hi Saphire! I have an eGo mini and I love it, it doesn't last a huge amount of time before it needs recharging (maybe half a day for me) but it's small and cute and perfect for stealth vaping. I was very lucky that hubby quit at the same time I did, but tbh vaping has worked so well for me I don't feel I need a cigarette even when around smokers. But everybody's different - and I really hope you can bring your hubby over to the light side soon.

I wish I could get my hubby to take up vaping too however, i'm never tempted to have one of his smelly ciggies as I'm happy with my vape

Any other time I've tried to stop it's been impossible with him still smoking!
