Grief no Scylla, I wouldn't trust myself with a petrol driven lawn mower, let alone an ecig.

Is that a joke ??? I wouldn't want to use it either, lighter fuel is highly flammable.
Perpy, I have been using gas (petrol) powered lawnmowers for years with no problems....except for the one time, when I was a teenager, when I inadvertently had one foot on the spark plug and the the other one on the ground. When I started it, the electric current shot up my leg and out my left arm. I never did that again !!!!

Strewth Jerry! No, I know my limitations - anything involving a combustible liquid, is a complete no go for me - the same applies to power tools.

(((Jerry)))) Perpy, I'm OK with using most power tools but always been a tad scared at the thought of using a chain saw. had a scary experience with a circular saw attachment once

Sounds frightening Chris. My main problem is, I never bother reading instructions, they're always so technical and horribly boring, so it's best I don't attempt to use anything that can endanger life or limb.

Perpy, I was raised using power tools, I have to be extra careful, because I am too comfortable with them, that's when a person gets hurt.
Chrissie, I have used both electric and gasoline powered chain saws. Extreme care is required when using them.

Jerry I wish I could get over my fear of chain saws - could get access to some free fuel for my log burner if I did so

Jerry I wish I could get over my fear of chain saws - could get access to some free fuel for my log burner if I did so That would be nice, Chrissie. Get a small 12" chain saw, wear leather gloves and boots. Start small, cutting branches. The big logs, require a bit more care, because if not done properly, they can bind and kick back the saw. Always keep a tight grip on the saw, with both hands. Stay away from cutting down trees until you are really comfortable with using a chain saw. That is my chain saw lesson for today. That is all, have a nice day.

Jerry I wish I could get over my fear of chain saws - could get access to some free fuel for my log burner if I did so ....and I have more firewood, than I know what to do with. I just noticed several large trees in my woods, that were uprooted by the recent storms. Have you ever thought of moving to Rhode Island ???
