Alvoram I did a little thing the other week, without taking into account each mod would have a lasting power better than the other,I put the same atty on a mini LT a full size LT and my twin 18650 vv mod, each in turn gave me a slightly better hit using all three at the same voltage,I cannot compare to any other mod or something like a Provari, but in turn the more battery power I threw at the atty the better it got, then there is the lasting capabilities,if Iam honest I just use my tin mod the most, its only draw back, its a bit cramped in there and could use a better button as the one in it takes a bit of a push to make the connection and that makes it slightly uncomfortable, but that's a small gripe,a really great mod (you could build yourself for a few quid) but a powerful long lasting vv device Edit for typos

That's good to hear Alan, especially as they are really affordable too. I imagine that personally, I'd get a weekends vaping out of a twin 18650 at least, so it could be worth the buy for camping trips, something cheap, brilliant and smaller than packing my 18650 charger, LT and spare batteries, definitely less to remember and look after lol, however if I did throw in a couple of spare charged batteries, I'd have the backup too. Thanks for that.

Yes I'll call you Al too thats the way I look at it,I bought 4 of torcheys 18650 batteries to big for the LT (but work) but perfect in the tin mod,I am often away for weekends with my cars,so to have such lasting power is a great thing. Ps I did talk to Torchy and invite him here to the AAEC,he did join but has yet to post,so maybe need to give him a nudge to threads like this

I think alanfinal has pretty much hit the nail on the head there. The first point is that the 900mAh rating of these batteries is going to err on the optimistic side and in any case that is an indication of how long they last until they are completely discharged - they are not going to be able to power a VV device some way before they reach that level. The second point is that the Riva is operating at 4.2 volts and gradually gets lower as it discharges. If you are running a VV at 4.5 volts you are going to run down a battery much quicker. I'd say 2/3 hours at that level is not bad for such a small battery. With a brand new top quality battery you might get a bit more.
