Hi Jazz & #welcome2#
Two ways of using a cheap atomiser. One is to add a cartridge. That sort of makes it into a two-part cartomiser. Maybe 40p or so each. You can even get them pre-filled for about the same cost, but not much choice of juice. You pull the cartridge off to top it up.
The other way is to direct drip, which is what djs vapour is talking about. Just drip about three drops directly onto the mesh. You shouldn't do it with an automatic battery.
Cartridges are easier to fill than cartomisers, easier to wash out (but at that price hardly worth the bother), and last longer. Some people prefer the vape with carts though.
Wash your atomiser in hot water if it starts to taste bad, or maybe once/week regardless. If you avoid burning it will last for weeks.

Hi and Welcome. I use one of these, pictured, to test flavours before putting into cartomiser or ecig tank. It is the atomiser from a cheap mini using cartridges. I use the cartridge with the inner cartridge/fluff removed so it is a straight moutpiece. Works well as if flavour is rubbish I can soak it of the cartomiser with kitchen towel and try again with another flavour.

If you avoid burning it will last for weeks. I burned out two last night. One old one (6 days, 10+ fills) and one which I can only conclude was brand new... ??? I'm waiting on an order of atomizers and cartridges (it'll be a brand new thing for me) to see if I can do a week-long comparison.
