But as a starting point I picked up a E-Lite rechargeable e-cig in Morrison's for £6.99 and am giving it a go as a trial until I decide which route to go and where to invest my "real cigarette money" Katie, I thought you'd gone for good. I had a terrible day today with my e-cig-using project, but the lowest point of the day was my discussion with a sales/franchise rep for E-Lites at a well-known shopping centre. I started on E-Lites and couldn't even begin to stop the real fags. Rather than go through the whole explanation, maybe have a read here. www.ecigclick.co.uk/e-lites-review/I'm close to the top of the reviews.

Firstly hello and welcome :-)
Secondly I don't agree that it's impossible to stop on cigalikes though i do agree they are totally overpriced and a rip off!
I started with VIP cigalikes and as soon as I started vaping I stopped smoking and haven't had a cigarette since! I did still get the cravings on VIP BUT would get that out have a puff and be ok again. I am not recommending these by a LONG shot, it wasn't long before I moved onto jacvapour with a PCC which were 100 times better and then onto my riva / egos which are even better still, but if you have the willpower the one you've bought can be a good starting point, but works out a lot more expensive in the long run!!!

#welcome2# Katie I think you've had too much conflicting advice already So I'm just going to suggest that if you haven't done so already, read the thread ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK :: General Vaping discussions :: Absolute Beginners/New members :: Pics & Videos of e-cigs & how to get started And any questions, ask us. Whatever you start on, you'll be able to try something else if it doesn't seem to work well for you, because it is so much cheaper than the fags. One thing I'm sure of: if you persevere you will find a vape that is better than smoking. Good luck!

I echo Giles`s comments.
If in any doubt whatsover, ASK.
Anything you need to know ASK.
Need to know if a certain vendor is trustworthy, Just ASK.....
Someone will be right along to reassure you and do their best to answer all your questions.
We are all very friendly, asked all the questions you are unsure of, and was welcomed with open arms.
You will love it here.

Hi Katie and welcome - well, everybody's said it already but I'll reiterate - please ASK if you have a query. Friendly folk here, with loads of experience between them, and only too happy to help you get the best from your money and your gear. Welcome aboard, and hope you stick around, vaping like a good'un!! Andy

Thank you all for the welcome, advice and reccomendations Will take some time asap to read in detail and look at the websites to make a choice, I just need a few more hours in my day In the meantime if anybody can comment about Sky Cig, would be most welcome as saw a video for it earlier with a UK reviewer and looks possibly interesting Thanks again. But as a starting point I picked up a E-Lite rechargeable e-cig in Morrison's for £6.99 and am giving it a go as a trial until I decide which route to go and where to invest my "real cigarette money" Hi Katie, I have a skycig and I love it I use to smoke about 20-40 a day and although the battery life on skycigs is kinda short, the starter kit with 2 batteries and the charging case is enough to keep me going for most of a day, I also have a usb charger for the batteries.
