black cat - lack of vapour?

hi there.

I've been trying different flavours and although I'm quite liking black cat from vape escape, hardly any vapour comes out. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that or if there's something wrong with the carto I'm using.

any pointers would be cool

It could be the carto, Smoothy. Some take breaking in more than others & some wimp out much earlier than others.

How old is the carto & did you fill it well to begin with & keeping it topped up?

it was a brand new carto. I thought I may have not filled it enough so I topped it up only for it to overflow. all the other carto/juice's seem fine. Just this one, wasn't sure if it was the nature of the juice or the carto.

I've tried it a few times already. I get the flavour just hardly any vapour. should I just keep using it to see if it improves?

I've never been able to get good vapour out of cartos, personally. Other than one I used for Menthol. The rest I really struggled to get vapour. I'm never buying them again.

I'm really new to vaping and carto's seemed an easy way to get going. what other options are there? I've used an atty to test flavours but wasn't sure on other atty/cartridge options.

I had a similar issue with black cat, i loved the flavour but when i breathed out there was no vapour at all. Strangely if i just sucked vapour into my mouth and breathed it out i got a decent amount comparable to other juices i use but if i actually inhaled it and then blew it out i got nothing no matter how big a drag i took. I love the flavour but i need to exhale vapour as well or i dont get any satisfaction from the vape. I tried it in low res cartos and in my mini nova 1.8ohm and that made no difference.

yeah, that's exactly what's happening. if I don't inhale after drawing on it there's vapour but if I inhale then blow out there's no vapour....as if I'm absorbing the whole lot.

I know what you're saying though. it's not as satisfying if you don't exhale a nice cloud

I'm using 10mg Black Cat in a Vision Clearo (think it's a CE4, not the rebuildable type) on a mini eGo batt, and I get a fair amount of vapour on the exhale. I didn't have much vapour when I used it in a carto, and there are other juices that don't give out much vapour for me in a carto either. Mind you, there are also juices that give me more vapour in a carto than they do in a clearo, it just takes some experimentation.

Just tried it in an atomiser and was a bit better, still not much vapour though. shame, as I really like the flavour but I'm not getting the 'exhale satisfaction'

I use cartomisers 99% of the time & never had a problem with Black cat juice. However, it's a while since I'v bought it as at the moment I'm using up the 700ml of e-liquid I bought from a bulk order I placed with Health Cabin.

Drop Jason a PM or email to let him know & see if he has any ideas why this could be happening

Bit of a head-scratcher. Blackcat is a 70/30 mix isnt it? Should be fine on vapour production. Maybes try a low resist cartomiser or similar?

You could always have a duff carto as the resistance does vary on stuff by a bit sometimes. ???

What are you screwing the carto/atomiser into Shiny?

Could be that is on it's way out maybe?

I'm screwing it onto the battery. I thought the battery may be the issue so I changed to a charged one but it wasn't that. I get plenty of vapour from other flavours/carto's so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. it's just that juice.

I got a reply from VE and the juice should be ok. I'm gonna leave the juice to stand for a while to see if it improves.
