Hi all,
A few weeks back one of my batteries (from my Riva kit from Vapeescape) suddenly stopped working with my clearo. It lights up and works fine with cartos, but no power getting through to the head with the clearo.
I thought nothing of it as I have another one and also a mini ego battery so not been an issue. This morning I changed the head on my clearo and suddenly it wouldn't work with any of my batteries. Tried it with my skycig battery and it works fine (but that just looks odd!). After a few times screwing in and unscrewing it worked again but isn't working every time.
I'm sure I just need to give the threads on both my clearo and batteries a good clean, if I'm honest I've never really done that so any tips on the best way to clean them?
Thanks

Looks like it might be the centre pin has squashed down.
Using a toothpick/pin. Try raising the battery centre pin ever so slightly, one side at a time.
Ego/riva batteries do tend to get pushed down occasionally due to different size atty/clearos being used. So one will be ok but another wont quite connect.
If using a metal pin, turn off the battery 1st to avoid shorting it out.

Will only require a tiny bit of prising up to make a connection mind.
Maybe 1-2 ml.
I try and give mine a clean with isopropyl, but vodka is a good alternative once a week or so. but just a quick clean with a tissue whenever you refill your clearo/carto will help keep them clean

Pinkerbell it would only be a problem if you accidentally pressed the button whilst finegleing, but better safe than sorry

It also only takes the tinyest bit of dirt, just a single strand of fibreglass wick can be enough, on the contacts to stop them making a connection. Don't usually find the threads a problem, but I give the centre contacts a frequent wipe with kitchen towel.

Great little bit of information there & a problem we all must of come across on our vaping journeys
