Hi,
Not been on in a while, so hi to all!
Last night I took out a Boge 2 ohm cart, filled it in the usual manner, then connected it to a Riva 1100 and tried to use it. It seemed fine until I let go of the power button, at which point it carried on burning. I unscrewed it ASAP, but the damage was done, the battery no longer responds. Not realizing it was the cart at fault, I connected it to my second battery, only to kill that battery too!
This would of left me high and dry, if I didn't still have my minis!
Question is; has anyone else had this happen?
I've e-mailed Jason at Vapeescape, I'll have to wait for his reply.
Cheers everyone,
Clive.

It hasn't happened to me but a shorting cartomizer can burn out your battery circuitry..
Edited to add: I have had it happen to me with a semi-shorted rebuildable.

I once ordered several boxes of caro's from China, one whole box were duds, thankfully I had plenty of stuff or I would of gone nuts.

Clive, I have heard in the past of someone having a dodgy atomiser that shorted out their batteries It was a long time ago, before cartomisers were available. Shelley, get in touch with whoever you bought them from.

Shelley, it sounds like you have some cartos with a different fitting to your battery, echo what Chrissie says.

Getting the multi-meter out tonight, I'll test it and see if it has a dead short.
Yeah, that's true, back-ups for your back-ups.
