I used it on Toby when he was VERY wriggly and came home with his frst tic, had no one to hold him while I removed him.... DE killed it dead and it fell off very nicely.

My boy is 18 months now and my vet and some neighbours keep asking when I will get him castrated, but I see no need to at present, like yours Lynn, he isn't displaying any aggressive or sexual behaviour towards my teddy bears or chair legs I see no reason to put him through it, besides which I think my vets charge over £200 for it. If you are a responsible owner who does not let your dog roam keeps him on a lead if he is unreliable off it and you are happy with your dogs behaviour at home then tell the neighbours to mind their own and just say no thanks to the vet

He is very well behaved Pam, he pushes his luck a bit at home, but he's also quite spoiled, but he's very obidient when I need him to be, most of the time... ::)he's protective of the area around my house, but he's friendly with other dogs and people in neutral territory....

Yeah there is that, certainly the last few months, happens a couple of dozen times a day, or if we have visitors that he really likes....or if we play tug of war, or if he sneezes, yawns or breathes It was quite funny the other day, he cried when it wouldn't calm down but there is also another issue that happens quite frequently

One of my girls (Dilligaf) sits on one knot and holds the other knot in her front legs and....well I will leave the rest to your imagination

I applaud the notion of keeping the pup intact - and am appalled that some folks submit their hounds to a GA and the knife and have their bits removed as a matter of course - I'd ask, would you do that to your child? If not, why do it to a dog?

If not, why do it to a dog? I personally think it's cruel myself. It's something I would never do. It's never dogs I've had problems with anyway it's always been bitches. Oh and vets always encourage you to castrate. Why? More money for them I reckon.
