I see you mentioned using an Ego-T, if that is with the small plastic tank on the large atomiser like this



You would be much better using, as others have suggested something like a Nova, or even a mini Nova.

The tank atomiser as shown can really mute flavours.

i have tried various clearo`s and still i always go back to the mini nova ..in my opinion by far the easiest to refill and changing the heads is real easy too
