From vapourworld UK for £29.95 + delivery.. ClickyYesterday on UKV they were saying this was £70!! Vapourworld did indeed have the Vamo VV (body only) on their site for £69 with a 6 month warranty but the price dropped to £29 DOA in the afternoon

Hi Lawrence, please feel free to start a thread in the New Members section, sounds like you're enjoying vaping would you mind checking if you have you're 'cap lock' button on by mistake? It tends to be thought of as shouting when you post in capitals!

Lawrence, fair enough, but there are a lot of vendors that do that type of shady promoting, and they don't usually last very long here I apologise if my response seemed a little strong, I look forward to welcoming you properly in the new members section...

Spotted this on the web, they are changing the buttons to metal on the 18th November (about a third of the way down the page). Maybe an issue with the rubber buttons? Could be the reason they are trying to shift these so cheaply as they have a lot already made which may not sell once they bring out the metal button version. Just speculating www.rainbowheaventec.com/sdp/1474662/4/pd-6042032/11065706-2354840/Vamo_VV_Mod.html

Gettin scarier and scarier, just spotted this on Zainy site. They have amended their description to clearly state that the 18650 battery cannot be used in this ecig. You can still use one or two 18350 batteries in it. No reason given for the change. Was looking forward to two days vaping with no battery change zainy.net/162--latest-provari-vv-mod-vamo-.html

Probably some shorter batteries like a flat top 18650 are not long enough to get a good connection..
It will work with a 18650 but better to buy button top cells or play around with or replace the spring on the bottom cap with a longer spring.

I think Macca is right, you will need to use button topped 18650 and 18350's batteries for this to work. In the video it shows 18650's being used so I don't' know why Zainy have changed their description? Sent from my Nexus 7 using proboards

Makes sense, cant imagine any other reason why it would be a problem, got two new button top 18650s sitting here ready to go.

Makes sense, 2 x 35mm (18350's) is 70mm, so the smaller 65mm 18650's might not be big enough and bigger 18650's would work best, them being up to 70mm. Still think it would be wise to wait and watch on this one though, as it is a strange reason to say that 18650's don't work at all, for instance the lavatube only takes certain 18650s, nobody lists that as not taking an 18650...

You could always use a couple of rare earth magnets spacers if needed.

I'm just a little concerned that this is all theory Des, yes it's a good guess, and it makes sense, but we don't actually know for sure why they have said that an 18650 is no good, and we don't know for sure why they dropped the price to less than half, and removed the 6 month warranty, on vapourworld. HC sold out, vapourworld sold out, soon enough there will be plenty of these in use, so it makes sense to wait just a little while to see how people get on with using them for a period of time.
