TPA ~ Pie Crust

This is a good basic flavour to keep in stock if you like crumble type mixes. Absolutely not a stand alone, unless you like the taste of plain pastry that is.

Quite a mild ' background ' flavour, but reasonably authentic and excellent when mixed with fruit/nut flavours. As a rule I mix this by itself first, then add my other flavours once it has steeped and I'm happy with it. Normally at around a 15% concentration.

Capella ~ Gingerbread

In a word . . . divine!

The most beautiful, smooth crisp ginger biscuit flavour you could ask for and as with a lot of Capella's Flavour Drops, there's little need to mess with it further, as it's wonderfully rounded by itself.

A fantastic stand alone, which I mix at 20% . . . although you might want to start at a lower concentration if it's your first time using a ginger based concentrate.

Plus, perfect for zinging up a more mundane mix as the ginger flavour is so very smooth . . . although likely to taint any atomiser you might use. Well worth it though!

Flavourart ~ Apple Pie

I've found this one of the nicest Apple Pie flavours that I've used so far, the pie element is lovely. Although, it's not terribly intense . . . most F'art concentrates, although authentic in taste, are very much on the weak side for me.

So, I mix this at between 20-25% and add a further 10 drops of a plain Apple flavouring in 10ml, to bring out the apple a little more. It's also very nice with a couple of drops clove flavour, to give it a ' spicy/warmer ' taste.

Decadent Vapour ~ Blackberry Crumble


A pleasant enough concentrate, lovely Blackberry Favour although lacks any real crumble flavour coming through for me. I always add some TPA Pie Crust to this when I mix it.

Like all the DV flavourings I've tried, it's quite weak in flavour, so I mix at a generous 20% concentration.

TPA - Graham Cracker

Pleasant biscuity flavour, somewhere in the Nice biscuit - digestive range, a bit dark.

It is said to have cinnamon in it, but I couldn't taste it.

I guess you could vape it by itself, but you'd normally use it in some sort of pie or crumble mix. It worked well in mine, and I would think in others.

CCW ~ Christmas Cake


Disappointed in this one as it isn't really a Christmas Cake flavour, more an Almond/Marzipan essence than anything.

You could possibly rescue the flavour with some spices/nut/fruit/cake concentrates if you were prepared to experiment.

35% Jack . . . still wasn't like Crimbo cake, marzipan/almond was the only flavour I got.

VIP/Flavourwest ~ Cake Mix

This is rather a nice flavour for me, reminds of the taste of uncooked cake mix, if you ever used to lick the mixing bowl out, after your Mum had made a cake, then that's the sort of flavour it reminds me of.

Not dissimilar to Bavarian Cream, but sweeter . . . I rather like it by itself, but it makes an excellent base for coffee/fruit cake blends.

As a standalone, I mix at 25% . . . as a base 15%.

I've tried a few Cinnamon Danish/Roll Concentrates now, so thought I'd pop them altogether on one post in order of personal preference, although there's but a whisker between them all.


TPA ~ Cinnamon Danish

My favourite this one, so authentic that you can imagine biting into a freshly baked, gooey Danish Pastry when you vape it. There's a lovely sweet/frosting flavour to this as well, without being sickly sweet. Love it.

A scrummy standalone concentrate, needs no other messing . . . I mix this at 20%, you may want to try a slightly lower concentration if it's your first time of using a cinnamon based flavouring.

My overall score: 9/10


Capella ~ Cinnamon Danish Swirl

Another yummy, very authentic flavour from Capella. Perhaps not quite as sweet as the TPA blend, but beautifully rounded as you would expect from Capella.

Another fantastic standalone, which I mix at 20%.

My overall score: 8.5/10


VIP/Flavour West ~ Cinnamon Roll

Another lovely flavour, perhaps not quite as smooth or rounded as the others, but still excellent and very good value for money. There's very little between any of these 3 in all honesty.

A great standalone, which I mix at 20%, as with the others, some steeping time is recommended as they all improve with a little infusing time.


My overall score: 8/10


If you buy your Flavour West from Sherryl, she did have a $5 standard shipping charge, I haven't ordered from her for a little while so wouldn't be a 100% certain if this still applies. Her service is top notch however.

Edit to say: The flat rate shipping no longer applies, but VIP's charges are still reasonable, in comparison to some of the other US Vendors.

One word of caution, Cinnamon type juices can cause some polycarbonate tanks to crack, generally it's the more ' atomic ' type ones . . . I've had no issues with any of these, but I have read of TPA's causing some problems.

TPA ~ Bavarian Cream

Flavourwest ~ Bavarian Cream

I love both of these, there's so little difference in the end flavour for me, that I thought I'd combine my thoughts on them.

Both have a lovely, creamy raw cake mix taste, I can happily vape them as a standalone mixed at 20-25%, they're also scrummy used in a Gingerbread Brulee brew, mixed at a lower concentration.

If you enjoy sweet, but not sickly, cake/pudding type flavours, either by themselves or in a combined recipe, I think you'd like these . . .

Capella New York Cheesecake
Quite authenic, very creamy,with a hint of lemon and sweetness.

Can be used as a stand alone or with a fruit flavour added

I mix at 20% with between 8 - 10 drops of fruit flavour

will give this 8/10

Capella Lemon Meringue

Absolutely authentic lemon meringue flavour. I mixed as a stand alone at 25% and left to steep for 1 week. Very nice tart and sweet lemon taste. Does exactly what you would expect. A very refreshing taste to wake up them taste buds. Delish !

Score 9/10 (with the perfect base to go with it then it would easily be 10+)

+1 for the Cinnamon Danish Swirl.............its is a yummy one, took my mix with me to LSE meet for testing and I believe I got the thumbs up on this, vaping this this morning
