Hi,
At the moment i am vaping a menthol 24mg juice but dont seem to be getting a good throat hit! I seem to be constantly having a drag on my Riva, will i be having more nicotine than i had when i was smoking? I find the nicotine content in juices confusing..help

Nicotine is absorbed differently from vaping, we don't seem to absorb as much. sign of nicotine overdose are headaches, feeling sick, sweaty. If that happens stop vaping for a while and drink plenty of water!

I wonder why you're not getting a good throat hit? What do you have on top of the Riva? Does the Riva need charged?

No its fully charged this morning. I have the clearomiser on it, tried the cartomiser but that was worse!

Im using Exhale black label 24mg . Doesnt give VG/Pg content. Just feels like im sucking air!! I started off on 18mg juices but these dont feel any stronger!

Are you inhaling slower / lighter for longer? Common mistake for new vapers is to suck too hard.

Im trying all ways, i have found sucking slowly slightly better but am finding the thought of a real ciggie tempting right now!

Good way to vape for more throat hit is a long slow draw into the mouth, then a sharp inhale from the mouth to the lungs. Other things to try are a short draw before the long one, to wake the battery up, and drwing air in at the same time as the vapuor by leaving your mouth open at the sides.

Might be worth trying different juices - go for something with a high PG %.

They say alcohol increases throat hit - vaping it not drinking it - I suppose you could try mixing a little vodka into your juice ???

A variable voltage battery, or low res cartomisers, will increase the power going through the juice, can make it warmer and increase the throat hit. I don't think your Riva will be happy with low res though.
