Hold on a minute. Are we talking trying to charge an ego with a mini 510 charger?

I have two chargers, both have the same physical thread on the dongle. One outputs at 150mah the other 420mah.

Get it wrong and....well, I don't want to think about it.

Is it safe to charge a "bigger" batter with a "smaller" charger?

It's safe to charge a bigger battery with a smaller charger but will take forever. It is not really safe to charge a smaller battery i.e. a cig-a-like with a larger 420mAh output charger!

I usually charge my batteries overnight so hopefully it shouldnt affect me too much

Edit: theres an ego charger on liberty flights with 650mah output for five pounds, i might order that if its causing me a problem

I'm probably over cautious but I wouldn't recommend charging batteries overnight

Is that for a specific reason or just the fire hazard?
Ive ordered a proper ego charger so i probably wont be over night charging anymore (especially if the batteries last longer)

Yep, basically it could be a fire hazard and I'd rather not risk it!

you`ll find with that charger your batt will be charged in around a hour (ish) and your batt under normal use will last around a day (not for some users here were it only lasts an hour )

and im with karma..never leave a batt on charge over night safety fire are what eva ..is it really worth the risk ???

my advice would be to also order a standard ego 650 mah battery too ..that way whilst on charge you always have a vape to hand or if indeed one goes faulty and for around 7/8 quid there a decent smaller batt that you will no doubt get plenty of use from
