The Blackeyed Peas have finished me for a while - I shall return towards the end. x

I always skip the halftime show, Scylla, even when the Patriots were in the Super Bowl. I started singing both songs (quietly to myself) and I couldn't connect "America the Beautiful" with "God Save the Queen", but "My Country 'tis of Thee" fit perfectly.

31 -25 Green Bay, Scyll. The Steelers have to score on this possession or it's over. The Steelers turned over the ball three times tonight, you don't win Super Bowls by doing that.

They didn't seem to play right up to the end ??? Oh well, it's not the end of the world for you, Jerry, the Steelers aren't really your team. I supported the Packers all the way thru but I forgot which was which and thought they were the ones in white tops Tell you what - they sure can throw and catch scylla

Yes, that's why they are pros, Scylla. The Steelers didn't play well tonight, the three turnovers did them in.
The team that has the ball has 30 seconds to make a play. That's why the Packers "took a knee". There was only a minute left in the game and every time they did that, they ate 30 seconds off the clock. The reason that they did that was to avoid the possibility of the Steelers intercepting a pass or recovering a fumble.

I had my heartbreak, when the NY Jets beat my Patriots a couple of weeks ago, to eliminate them from the playoffs. The Patriots had the best regular season record in the NFL, 14-2. The "experts" expected them to be in the Super Bowl this year, but that was not to be.

You should edit the video for me with the turnovers and put them on YouTube. I suppose they'll end up there anyway - so you can let me know That probably doesn't make sense cos I'm dropping off to sleep now. scylla

I have no idea about how to do that, Scylla. If I see any highlights of the game on YouTube, I will let you know. Jerry
