Not sure what PG/VG ratio to choose?

Hi, another noob question
Some vendors are offering choices of ingredient mixes. I understand the nicotine bit, I understand what PG and VG are, but not the implications of the mix ratio. Choices being PG 100%, PG/VG 70/30 and I think 50/50. Are there changes to taste, amount of vapour, hit on throat, ease of vaporising etc etc?

PG gives more throat hit but less vapour, VG the other way round and a bit sweeter tasting. 70/30, 60/40, 50/50 are all attempts at getting the best of both worlds. I favour 70/30 but as in most things vaping, personal taste does come into it

I started on a 70/30 mix because I was buying my juices made up and that is what most of the e-juices came in from the firms I was buying them from.

But then I got a mix that was 50/50 and that suited me better.
Smoother and slightlt sweeter taste.
So now that I am mixing my own, I do them all 50/50.

I don't think this is something that anyone can advise you on.
It is something you have to try for yourself.

Get a couple of 5, 7 or 10ml samples of the same e-juice and see for yourself which one you prefer.

Almost all of the juices I tried at first were 70/30. The first juice I really liked was 50/50. From now on that's what I'm going for.

I make my own juice now and I settled on 80/20 PG/VG. It works for me. I have tried 70/30 but it was a bit too sweet for me. But, it may work better with flavours that are not that sweet. Just have to find what you like with what flavour you have.
