As far as i can make out your coils are touching try spaceing them out and your ss wick seems to thick and squashed at that top roll it tighter looking at the pic.

Your center pin is not making contact..try lifting up the center pin on your twist or lowering the center pin of your atty..

if Macca's suggestion doesnt work pop a multimeter on it Chris... you may have a short and the twists protection circuit may be kicking in

Spaced out the coil..............Tried it on a different twist & an LV............Still nothing..........There's a silicone grommet in the bottom of the atty, where it screws onto the battery.......Tried it with & without it, but no glow....maybe I'll try re-coiling it with some new wire............What say you?.................Thanks for the replies by the way.

You will need the silicone grommets at the top and bottom of the atty as it keeps the positive pin away from the negative body, ensure you havent over tightened the nut and forced them to squash.

Think I've sussed the problem. Unscrewed it all & macca was right I think. The centre pin is nowhere near the bottom of the atty. So undone the 3 small knurled nuts on the top & pushed the pin further down so that it will make contact with the battery. Unfortunately, I've bust the coil wire, so will re-coil it & try again...thanks guys......

you must have done those nuts up way tight Chris to raise the pin that far make sure when you redo it that the pin sticks out a tiny bit below the outter screw connection

The only thing is, if I allow the pin to protrude out of the bottom, the silicone grommet won't sit inside.

OK..............So, I've got the bottom pin just protruding from the bottom, so that it will make contact with the battery. However, if I put the silicone grommet on the bottom & then screw the battery on, it won't fire up, but without the grommet it will. At the moment only the top 2 of the 5 coils are glowing.

Where are you putting the silicone grommet that you are able to remove it so easily?..It needs to go around the center pole at the bottom before the atty is put together..
If only the top two coils are glowing that means your wick is shorting after the second coil. If you want to pop in Sunday to pick up your stuff, bring it with you and I'll take you through it..

I too had the same problem. Dont screw the bottom knurl nut too tight let the centre post be outside the silicon o -ring and you should be fine

One last thing while I'm annoying everyone..............What guage wire is the best to use?...........I think I've used .016mm with 5 coils. Would a thicker wire be better?
