I'm desperately waiting for my thundervolt from Portugal to arrive. Also coming from abroad however i have a birthday present for my fiance's 30th next month. BOth of which I'm desperate to get. Imagine my frustration therefore when catching up on some much needed sleep this afternoon I had one of those bloody red cards through my door, telling me not to collect until tomorrow!!! Tomorrow the in laws are taking us car shopping, hopefully they'll be kind and take me to get it in the morning before we go, if not will have to wait til Monday, but so frustrating knowing I could have one by now!!!

I'm very lucky, I'm on good terms with my postman, and if I'm not in and I get vapemail 'signed-for', he signs the card for me and posts it through my letterbox. What a star!

It could be worse, I was at the post office on Saturday picking up my red card post only to get home to find another red card!!!

I rushed to the PO on Monday hoping for something from Greece only to get my jury service summons (for 3 months!!!) (((((((((

Blimey firin you're right it could be worse! I think the worst part for me is the dogs moved and woke me up but I was so sound asleep I looked at the time to check the in laws weren't here, didn't even think about post and went back to sleep thinking they'd just got restless, went down later to discover exactly what it had been!!! Looks like I will be able to pick it up tomo though yay :-)

OK I'm totally gutted it was my thundervolt and I've been really excited all day about having received it. Used one of the batteries immediately which is now flat and currently using my second. It's an awesome piece of kit and I love it. HOWEVER I went to plug the charger in tonight to charge up my flat battery and discovered that it comes with a European adaptor (I probably should have Sussed that it would but am 99% sure I read something from them saying they include an adaptor for the country of origin-not sure where I read it though argh!
) gutted.

Have discovered I can plug it into the shaving port but obviously this isn't ideal! That'd be great thanks krueger what would you like for it?

you could cut the plug off and fit a standard plug onto it if you have no adaptors

Cor how posh are you with your "shaving port" all I've got is a blinkin' adapter which means the electric toothbrushes have to sit on the floor waiting to get knocked over by the cats.
Tis no fun having to pick cat hairs out of the bristles I can tell you
