Once you've got used to the heat settings, do try fried bread, the hob does it beautifully.

No Scyll - I did not try the fried bread - I had enough trouble with the egg as you can see!!!

I read and reread the instructions but everything got too hot. Not having proper buttons to push or switch on got the better of me. I think it is probably very sensitive and I was impatient.

I have now thoroughly washed it and repacked in its box. It will not come out again till I have moved!!

Maybe when you're re-settled you could take a pic of the manual, as I don't know how the heat controls work on it.

Yes, Scyll I realised what you meant but I think I can just slide the manual out of the box. Will try tomorrow - tired now. Been out for an Indian -eat as much as you like - lunch!! MM
