There must be a few here with both so I though I'd ask the question...
I'm not sure that a genesis is doing it for me. Don't get me wrong it's good but it's not quite there.
I vape at reasonably low watts/ voltage, I have a Provari and I love it (the last thing I do is vape on it before I go to work and the first thing I do when I get home:) ).
I like a reasonably tight draw (CE5/Mini Nova) so I'm wondering which one to put on my Christmas list. I also like great taste and a SR Boge is great but too noisy for my liking.
Any help would be appreciated.
If I'm honest I'd probably go both but as they're impossible to get I think setting my sights on just one will be more achievable.

I don't have a spheroid, but I loved my penny so much I bought a second. You can control the draw from totally airy to vacuum-tight to suit your preferences

So much can depend upon what flavour juices you use as to what works for you I think Firin, especially in a Genesis type I've found with the flavours I like to vape. Whilst I enjoy the Penelope, for me the Spheroid, just maybe has the edge . . . or perhaps that's because it's super easy to set up. Difficult choice . . . . hmmmm, perhaps the Spheroid on flavour, not sure. Really helpful aren't I.

Damn when you said "Can I send you something to cover the costs?" I should have said "a Penelope" If I'm honest I think it's the Penny I'm really hankering after but the spheriod sounds like all of the best bits of a carto without the annoying bits.

tricky one this as they are both great devices tight draw - penny as shes adjustable flavour - spheroid but it tails off quicker than the penny who is more consistent throat hit - a draw maybe lol juice capacity - penny value for money - penny ease of changing juice flavours - penny set up ease - spheroid made by the nicer moder - both twits IMO lol which do i use most atm - spheroid my advice would be if you can get either just get it... you wont be disappointed with either

^^^^^ |||||||| When reading his comments be aware that he doesn't really know how to coil a Penelope I will be trying the spheroid tomorrow, as Jason found difficulties coiling it But the Penelope is a super atty, if I had the money and could afford loads I probably wouldn't bother owning other attys

They are both as good as each other imo. Once you find a juice that fits well with it, the Spheroid is great. I find the Penelope better if you like changing your juice regularly. I have the Spheroid set with just one fav juice of mine, whereas the Pene I change every so often. It really is a tough call. I'd think you'd be better off getting a Spheroid brand new to start off with, then trawl classifieds for a penelope eventually. You might not see one pop up on here too often though, as the regs love them too much

Gordy pretty much nailed it there, I liked the penelope so much I got two, I liked the spheroid so much I got two When first filled, the spheroid provides a superb flavour and performance but that starts to fall off as the tank begins to empty. It seems to be down to the ability to wick slowing down as the filler becomes less saturated. That would suggest that the filler is too tightly packed but if you remove a little and refill you find that it will wick too fast and flood. I do find myself topping it up long before the tank is empty in order to preserve it's performance. Setting up is easy but can be a bit of a faff if you have large fingers due to tiny tiny securing nuts and it's a bit of a pita when it comes to re-filling due to the need to ensure that the wick is fed into the housing before you can screw the tank back on to the base, you'll work out a system that negates the need to touch a juice soaked wick with your fingers but every now and again a little bustad strand of wick will not play ball and you will lose patience and use your finger. I can make the Penelope match the spheroid for flavour and performance using a triple wick system, It is just as easy to set up once you get the hang of joining wires together to make your coil, it's performance remains unchanged from full tank to empty tank and is more customisable to your preferred taste, you can adjust the draw to suite the mod that you are using and re-filling it is mess free. The penelope would be my choice but the spheroid is a very close second.
