There's a provari in my vaping arsenal here too, if I had to choose 1 mod from all the stuff I have I would walk away with the provari. Hypocritical because I use a GGTS and ego twists a whole lot more but there you have it

I've got to admit, the provari is a great device and it is exactly what I was looking for. The build quality and overall performance is exceptional. I very much doubt you'll find anything that can come close to it. Sure there are devices that can offer what it offers, but for me, it is a staple device. I've only had it a couple of weeks or so, but I don't think anything out there at the moment could replace it.

So Provari Owners, do you need to reset the voltage every time you change the resistance, or do you just use the same resistance in all your tops?

You change the voltage to suit you. Some might vape at 3.4volts on a 1.8ohm head, others may prefer to vape at 3.8volts etc. Depends on how warm you like it, the flavour, nic content etc.

Can't beat a Provari for me, the cream of any VV vaping device I've thus far tried . . . only the Darwin matches it for me, though that has functionality limitations because of the swing arm.
Is the price justified? Again, for me it is, as I get the best, most consistent vape every time . . . better than anything else, set to exactly the same voltage.

I didn't want to believe the hype at first. But I caved in and probably should have done sooner really. Didn't lose any cash or anything, because everything I bought in between got sold. I'm only looking to get a Caravela now, and possibly try one or two other mechanical mods for the fun of it.

Another in the Provari camp, my second hand one is still going strong, not missed a beat, it must be getting on now as well, and my mini is fantastic, I rely on it so much I usually end up taking it out with me instead of the items I bought for out and about.

And me Remember though the cost does build up but once it's done it's done. Provari mini with extension cap 2x 18350 batts 2x 18450 batts and charger. Or at least that is what i have and the battery combination works a treat.

Re: setting the voltage, I find different juices have their own sweet spot so whilest a variable wattage device seems good as a set it and forget option it doesn't quite work that way all the time. Also, to change the voltage on many VV devices only means a few presses of a button, its not like its difficult

These people are talking about the ZMAX interesting Yes, very interesting! I knew about the problems with using dual coils and the differences in the settings between using one battery or two, but the misfires etc were new to me. Possibly the most interesting point that came out of this video is the fact that the ZMAX is compared so much with the Provari. They seemed to be saying that £ for £, the difference in price just does not stack up. If anything, this video has rather put me off buying anything new at the present time. Instead I will wait until either Provari ups its specifications to include a VW system, or Smoktech upgrades the ZMAX to get rid of its present problems with the firing button.

Thing is, NOTHING gets away with being crap on the internet, and after 2 excellent versions the Provari seems to reign supreme, waiting for the next new version is something we all do, sell one buy the other, all what makes the hobby great imo.
