Once again so many thanks to you all it means so much to have so many messages just for me  I had quite a good day in the end. started off with lie~in from which I came down to find livingroom covered in pink 30th balloons my mum had bought me and left with Chris while she was visiting last week, and Chris in kitchen making me a birthday cake full of whipped cream and strawberrys nom nom. Then MIL AND FIL arrived with a big bunch of flowers, a 30th banner and a helium filled 30th balloon, so I felt really spoilt and had not even opened presents/cards yet. That came next and I got lots of lovely things including two purple tops, socks, lots of money and a years adoption of Rajang, who is the most amazing Orangutan ever, and lives at Colchester zoo where we often go. I still have present to come from Dad who is currently in Australia and mum who is buying me a long wanted Pandora charm bracelet. She would have bought it earlier but I didnt know if Dad was going to as I gave him the idea first. Then the next surprise, a call from my Dad in Australia which made my day as I was not expecting it!Then in laws chris and I played a board game, before heading over to Bury St Edmunds to pick up a car they've bought us on a long-term loan (they've paid and we'll pay back when we can afford to). So kind and so appreciated as since the Astra died a few months ago and due to walking and public transport being too painful i've not been able to leave the house except to go to medical appointments which being an hour each way on a rickety bus really took it out of me for a good few days. Then I went to Argos and bought myself a 3ds with my birthday money, mainly so I can play the new Professor Layton. Am writing this message on it. We got a KFC on way home and spent rest of eve playing on 3ds and watching TV! So yes it was a lovely day (as there are a couple of car enthusiasts on here thought I should say new car is silver vauxhall vectra 57 reg with 55k on clock) |
