Don't know if any of you have seen me lamenting how crap the T2's were as the vapour was so hot it was virtually unvapable burning the back of my throat something awful this evening I thought I would change the head yet again and if it was as bad the whole lot was going in the bin, well......this time when unscrewing the old head I saw something....a tiny silicone ring holding the wicks down against the centre tube.....the new one was just the same DUH!!! These little rings must be there to hold the wicks in place for packing and shipping and were doing a great job of strangling the wicks resulting in constant dry hot hits....funnily enough it is vaping great now....<<<<hangs head in shame for being a blind gobshite>>> Pam

This is yet another prime example of why instructions need to be supplied with ecig stuff.
I know if and when I open my own store, I will be test driving everything I plan on selling and supplying instructions on how to use them which I will write myself if I have to.
When I sold a ego twist kit to a guy at work last month, I hand wrote a 8 page booklet with everything a newbie should need to know to get going and have many hours of happy vaping.

Glad you figured it out.. It's always a good idea to post a picture of the offending article if possible when asking for help..Someone would have spotted that straightaway and let you know..

Have to say though, that's the first time I've heard of the use of silicon rings that require removing before use

It might be a way of packaging the long wick replacement heads to save the wicks from fraying while it is being run through the blister pack machine..

This is yet another prime example of why instructions need to be supplied with ecig stuff. Too right. I hope this doesn't apply to T3s.

Know what-I binned one last week because it was showing the same signs. Was cursing the vendor and everything. Bet that's what the problem was. >
