This juice was sent to me free for the purpose of review.

I’m a chocoholic, but I must admit I’m not a fruit lover. In fact I’ve been known to tell people that as nicotine, caffeine and chocolate all come from plants I’m claiming them as part of my five-a-day. So I was a bit dubious about being asked to review a raspberry juice.

This juice is bright red – and I mean BRIGHT red. Think cherryade pop and you’ll be somewhere near. However, the aroma is quite subtle: I can smell the raspberry and a dark chocolate undertone as I sniff the bottle. So, sunglasses on and fill up a new mini Vivi Nova with a 2.4 head. I’d normally vape a 2.4 head at around 4.5 volts but I’ve found this juice seems to prefer something nearer 4 volts on this head.

I shouldn’t have worried, this is actually a very nice juice, much more subtle than it’s appearance suggests. There’s a definite taste of raspberry, but not sharp or tart. It’s not sweet, but the chocolate is toning down the fruit taste and giving it a rounder, smoother, more mellow taste. There is a difference between the inhale and exhale – the fruit seems to come through on the inhale while the chocolate lingers on the exhale. The aftertaste mixes the two very nicely. Throat hit is pretty good, as you would expect from a 70% PG juice and there is a good amount of vapour too.

So, first impressions are favourable and the chocoholic in me is satisfied with the balance of flavours achieved in this juice

chocolate is a very difficult flavour to achieve in an e-juice ...how would you describe this one oneday?
can you taste the truffle at all?

have you tried the Grizwalds Raspberry Truffle as that is simply divine

Gordy to me the chocolate is there as a dark taste if that makes sense. Certainly not a milk chocolate taste, more a Bourneville or high % cocoa taste??

The description Frogster give of the juice is that it contains a rum flavour (non alcohol) which would give the truffle taste but my buds are not picking this up

thanks Steve i think i prefer the smoother chocolate taste as so many chocolate juices seem a tad bitter for my pallet

I am trying this in a mini nova with 2.4 head on a Riva battery.

Now I know Oneday has already done a review on this, but this is my opinion

On opening the bottle and sniffing the contents, which by the way are a bright red colour, perfect for any Liverpool FC fans I'm hit by the flavour combination of chocolate, rum and raspberry, delicious!!

On first vape the flavour balance is good, you get the rum and dark chocolate on the inhale and the raspberry on the exhale. As with most of Alchemists' juices the balance between the flavours is good, no one juice overpowers the other, the chocolate flavour is not at all bitter and compliments the raspberry flavour.

Vapourwise, again this is good, plenty of vapour and not at all drying in the mouth, very fruity with a good balance between the chocolate & rum, again its a moist vape. I didnt mention in my earlier reviews but this one and the 2 other flavours, it has a nice throat hit, not to harsh.

Its a good juice for the chocoholics out there

The smell of chocolate was evident from the moment I opened the bottle, on vaping this I was in for a pleasant surprise, this was a rich dark chocolate you find in expensive eating chocolate like green and blacks or desserts, it put me in mind of winter evenings snuggled up forgetting the weather and dark nights

A subtle taste of raspberry completed this treat of a juice, not overpowering the chocolate but complementing it beautifully

I was using this juice in a mini nova 2.8 head on a twist about 3.8

Folks . . . I'm merging the review threads for the same flavour from Frog, onto the one.

Having discussed this with Chrissie, Gordy, Karma & Sandra - we feel it is considerably easier for anyone wanting to get a ' feel ' for these flavours, to have them all on a single thread, rather than having to bop about the board, reading snippets here and there.

I've tried to do it fairly and merge onto the first started, hope you Reviewers all understand the reasoning behind doing this.

They are brilliant reviews, all of them, which I'm loving reading . . . so thank you all for that.

This juice was lovely when I first got it five days ago, but it is getting even better with age. The intensity of the flavours is improving and the combination is truly delicious.
