I'm not in any way blaming e-cigs for this, but I have been experiencing chest pains accompanied by a dull ache in my lower leg. Now this is a problem I have had for some time and have been to the doctor about it numerous times.
Egc was fine and blood flow/circulation/heart all ok. Was told to lay off the coffee and to stoppage smoking which I have done with the use of skycig and the problem went away.
After a few problem free months I broke my last skycig and smoked analogues for a week until my new kit arrived, causing the symptoms to return.
Since ceasing the analogues however the symptoms have returned each time I have vaped. I only use .8 ml a day and dropped too 10mg strength incase it was nicotine related. I'm still having the symptoms but not convinced the nicotine isn't to blame. It mightbe worth tryingssome 0 nicotine.
Anyone else have any thoughts?

Back to docs is what I would advise Crin, can't be messing with health, you can try 0% nic but would that satisfy you? Do you know what strength the skycig was?

As Sandra says, Give your doctor a visit, Its what he gets paid for and you really shouldnt ignore anything chest related.
Im guessing its probably trapped wind as we swallow alot of air whilst vaping, but PLEASE, visit your GP!!

I know the chest pain your on about, its like someone presses on your lungs, only lasts a moment but you know about it.
I got it when I smoked and I still occasionally get it now as a vaper. I have been hooked up to an ecg machine and had my blood pressure taken and blood samples done, all turned out fine.
personal question but would a doctor class you as obese?

I keep going back only to be fobbed of. Its strange I didn't get it with skycig if it is nicotine but not sure what strength it is. I have seen lots of posts about the same problem on US forums but no definitive answer.
Some posts say it's stress/anxiety related - some that it's stimulant but one thread said they had the Sam thought so dropped to 0 nicotine and still no good.
It does get worse the more I smoke/vape so will try to cut down.

I have also suffered from chest pains and also back pains in the past. I went to the docs many times and had all the usual tests. Turned out it was stress, the more I worried the worse they got. As soon as I came to terms with it being just stress they went away. I haven't suffered since. Your pains sound very simular to what I was suffering it may be worth asking the Doc about it.

Back pain was the big one for me, with a little chest pain thrown in the mix, I wasnt smoking at the time (had a 2 year break unbelievably), this was the time I was diagnosed with depression. 10mg Beta blockers and 24 hours later the pain was gone. The AD meds were a different story.

Strange because I have been experiencing chest pain since may !!! Bloods have shown inflammation twice but X-ray was clear and am now being refered to rheumatology . I went back in the cigs to rule out e cigs and symptoms have decreased but I have also switched to pg/VG mix as I was wondering if the 100% VG was the cause ! Just need to get back in the ecigs full time now to see if symptoms flare back up I blooming hope they don't because I couldn't bare the alternative

Yes agreed, Had to use them for a week till the AD meds kicked in, side effects were bad but not as bad as coming down off the AD meds, Thankfully all thats behind me.

I actually asked the doctor for some beta blockers but he said I didn't need them as my blood pressure was ok.
Thinking about it, when I drink a lot of coffee I get kind of anxious and edgy. Beta's are prescribe for anxoiusness so it must raise blood pressure and nicotine is a stimulant like caffeine. It would make sense that this is the problem.
What are the sides with beta blockers? If not too bad I will ask the doc again and see if that sorts it. I don't want to give up vaping!
