Hi everyone. Need a bit of advice before I finalise my shopping list and spend some hard earned cash. I've decided to buy a whole new starter kit. The one I bought only has one of everything, and the kit is actually cheaper and comes with double the amount of 'stuff'. Really wish I'd found this forum before I bought mine! I got a 'Totally Wicked' rebranded Ego t-tank, so I'm going to get one of these: esmokeuk.co.uk/shop/article_2/Ego-C-Starter-Kit-Black.html?sessid=Pq4o8j8cQIobhKVkUJBfliascmev2ew1RpGuMxDf2LuwUFu2ByrHIoSlubNQ4ZLx&shop_param=cid%3D3%26aid%3D2%26I also want to buy myself a mixing kit, so thinking I need to get what I've listed below. What do you all think? Have I missed anything vital? VG base (from Classikool's eBay shop) PG base (from Minerals-water ltd eBay shop) 50mg Nic in VG base (from Nicvape.com) Syringes: 1ml and 5ml, 14 guage Bottles with needle tops: 10ml and 30ml Cupcake World flavours - still deciding which ones! I'd be grateful for recommendations of where to buy the bottles and syringes from. My plan, once I've got the hang of mixing, is to slowly reduce the amount of nicotine in my mixes. I also want to experiment with the mix of PG/VG so I get less throat hit, which is why I want the Nic in VG base. How does that sound? Thanks!

a 3ml syringe wouldn't go amiss (haven't got any myself but wish I did).
syringes are normally cheaper on ebay or you could also try amazon, in a fix most ecig vendors also do them.

Hmmm. Not sure about wicks and coils yet. I like the convenience of the one I'm using now - just fill it up and go, and very low maintenance. Might revisit this in a few months though, looks like I could just buy a cartomiser and stick it on top of the battery instead of the atty I've got now. At the moment, the less fiddly it is the better!

Good stuff Skwoddy. Reckon the LF bottles would be better as it'll be easier to fill the cartridges on the Ego, needle caps make it easier/less messy, or I could even get some separate needle tops. Their prices are pretty good on syringes too. Cheers!

Thanks Des. Is one better than the other, or are they about the same? StS

Well, Sarah, if the kit is stuff that you already know you like then I guess you won't be disappointed. But there are a couple of things: Do you need 3 egos? I suspect that sooner or later you will want variable voltage - how about getting a twist or spinner instead? I've never used the tank cartridge, but I have heard it said that they mute flavours. Maybe you should try a clearo? I use Vivi novas, but there are problems with them atm - maybe a kanger www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Vaping+Spares+%3E+Tanks+%26+Accessories or CE5 as per Andy's post. You don't have to rewick them - the heads are pretty cheap. How much nic are you going to buy? I just ordered from Nicvape but that was 1 litre of 100mg (as a hedge against legislation). May not be worth the postage and wait for small amounts. (I got my last lot of nic & pg from cig-eliquid). Tescos sell VG at about 60p for 38ml, if i remember right. Alchemists cupboard is great value for the bottles, but personally I'd want bigger than 10ml and I'm not sure they do needle tops. You can do worse than www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=26I don't know why Firin wants a 3ml syringe. I'd go the other way - get a 10ml instead of 5ml. Remember that syringes don't necessarily come with needles. 14 gauge or bigger is the size you want. A lower number means a bigger diameter needle ??? so 12 would also be OK I guess.

I just ordered from Nicvape but that was 1 litre of 100mg Careful - you are not allowed to have higher than 75mg in the UK without a poisons license
