Hi mp - welcome to the forum. Nothing weird about your preference at all as you will have gathered. To get the best of both worlds, well worth considering getting a tank to put your Boges in. I wouldn't get rid of your Vivi though - you may find, like most of us, that your preferences change over time.

I just dug out my Lil Mama tank and put a fresh boge in (not used it for a while). It was good. I am hoping that as other devices become more popular, we may see less, but better quality cartos.

Wow, loads of replies, which of course has prompted some questions. First off, what are echomisers and where do you get them from. Secondly, why drill holes in a cartomiser, why put cartomisers in a tank, what does any of this mean? I thought i'd gotten my head around all this and now I'm completely lost again.

I pulled a Boge and a Kanger apart the other day (dont know why) the Boge has much more wadding in it,what that proves I dunno but I got 2 free socks

You would drill a hole into a carto to put in a tank so as the juice from the tank feeds the carto you can also buy pre punched cartos

It's really important to give the ecomisers a good soaking on the firt fill and leave a good few hours, then top up again before using.

I can't see meusing tanks and carto's, its all way too fiddly and if I'm going to have a crack at persuading my smoking friends to start vaping, that's not going to be helpful. The ecomisers on the other hand look interesting. I will see if they match up or beat the boges.
All I have to do now is find a taste and make of e-liquid I like, so far everything I have tried I have disliked and have only vaped to fulfill my nicotine need. I've heard it takes time lol!

I tend to use carto tanks in the house and echomisers for out and about/work. IMO the echomiser look really smart on a riva/ego battery!

One thing though, get rid f the whistle shaped drip tip, magnet for condensation which ends up in your mouth. Replace with one of these

2nd that. Tried a bunch of Clearos etc but still not found anything as reliable a a good Boge / Kanger carto. Picked up a carto tank ages back, but still ain't got around to trying it

Are they just a posh cartomiser? and if so, do they last a bit longer?

I like cartos, but I have a habit of wrecking them rather too fast.

I guess they just don't last very long for me. I've burned a few prematurely. I've lost flavour and vape out of the blue after less than 2-3 (?) ml. Generally, I seem destined to spend far too much on this aspect of vaping. I swapped to clearos-only 2 weeks ago, but having 3 on the go gets very boring vaping 2ml/day......that's not many chances to change flavour....unless I fill them "short".

I've got 3 LRs in the Vape Escape Riva Carry Case, all filled with pipe sauce. I'm hoping I get more than an initial fill plus 3 or 4 top ups before expiry!

I just wondered if echos were more likely to stretch to a few more mls?
