Time to strip it down and see how the ceramic looks after a weeks heavy use.

The ceramic is still nice and white, no sign of scorching or degradation. I've compared it to a brand new V1 ceramic and it looks and feels identical. I even did a blow torch burn on both of them and they smelt exactly the same. Well, except for a slight hint of banana custard on the fake one. Once that had burnt off it smelt the same as the other one. There was a slight smell, but on both it was the same.

In fact, now that I've torched them both to white hot. I can't tell which is the fake one after mixing them up on the plate. Even after comparing them both to another V1

Did you get yours from the German site Macca?
If not, I wonder if they used real ones in the first batch and changed them for the US ones.

I got mine from Stormy..I have no idea what this is but it does not look and feel like 100% ceramic..It came in a plastic box with a photos of the product on two sides and CE markings and "Made in China" written on it on the other two.

I am pretty sure there is a certain amount of plastic in the ceramic that I have..In fact the translated blurb on the Vaporfreak site says:

A special ceramic was prepared by a high-quality ceramic manufacturer

But it works very well, and there are no alien smells even after I torched it. The next time I change flavour I'll take a photo..

Mine didn't come in a box like that. It was just wrapped in bubble wrap.

If you PM me your addy, I can send you a real V1 ceramic to compare it to if you want. Mine are from the Greek GG site and are identical to the one in the German ody. Would be interesting to see if it is the same as what you have.

Normally when you hold ceramic to a flame, the flame turns orange. Mine definitely does not do that..

Is the base the same size as the genuine ody
It looks bigger than the vamo where as my genuine is same size as vamo

It probably just the picture making it look bigger
