O Rings

Hi peep's,

I'm looking for some internal O rings for one of my 6ml tanks and

the vendors only seem to sell the outer and drip size O rings,

the measurement appears to be 9mm ID x 1mm or 1.5mm can

anyone enlighten me on the width and maybe a link

just seems crazy to buy a new tank when it only needs the

seals replacing,

any help would be much appreciated

Talking about O Rings, a new branch of Tool Station has just opened near me and I popped in (as you do) to have a look. On this link they have a box of 85 assorted o rings for £2.15. There is also larger boxes as well.

1.5 mm Viton Orings

Same seller also does nitrile O rings and both are suitable.

Macca so you know the size I would need for a vivi nova?

No idea Violet..I don't own a VIVI NOVA and which O rings you want..My understanding is the NOVA has quite a few O rings.

If you put the O-Ring you want on a piece of paper and trace the outline with a pencil or put 2 marks diametrically opposite each other, you can measure it with a ruler. A 1mm c/s O ring of the right diameter should be fine..

I picked one of these up at my local maplins a while ago, all sorts in there, thought it may be handy to have some spare o-ring about , ....like you do

I went into my Maplins today to see if they had any and was told no!! Just checked online and they have them in stock, t**ts

So talking of ring-shaped things, I'd like a few washers for my Aga T's centre post for lessening the gap between that and the wick.

I've looked for such items in ss, but any I've found look to be too big.


Anyone got any recommendations?
