What's an IGO-L? Is it easier to clean or re-use than a mini nova or cartomiser?

What are you using for testing the taste? I have a few vivi novas, but I don't fancy having to wash them out after each trial and error session. Think I have a couple of blank cartomisers somewhere, but they would only do for a couple of tests. You may find having a couple of 510 or 306 atomisers with a drip tip useful for taste testing. You just drip a few (3) drops at a time. Easy to either clean, or they quickly transition to a new flavour as they don't have the wadding cartomisers have inside. [Edit] An IGO-L (just googled it myself!) is a rebuildable dripping atomiser. Meaning that unlike my disposable suggestion above, it is possible to recoil the atomisers heating coil.

Way too complicated for me. I might look into the less complicated type of atomisers. I only have Ego Twist batteries (although I'm seriously thinking of buying something more durable). I think I need the 510 types for the Twist. Are some brands of atomisers better than others? The more simple and user-friendly the better.

How does it work. Does the juice go into the black thing and then that fits onto the silver gadet?

With any dripping atomiser, you need a suitable drip tip firstly Addict . . . they can take a little time to ' run in ' as some will come with a primer fluid which is pretty gross, so you need to get rid of that first. Give the atomiser a good blow through onto some kitchen paper and rather than waste a nice flavour, have a few tokes using just some plain VG or PG . . . this like your proper liquid, you drip 3/4 drops down the drip tip, onto the atomiser bridge. It's well easy, just takes a little practise at first. You'll soon know when it needs refreshing as you'll get a burnt taste and if you drip too much juice, then the atomiser will gurgle. Dripping really is the best way for testing new flavours, I think.

I have a couple of Delrin drip tips (the black mouth pieces that sit on top of cartomisers). Is that the same thing, albeit a 510 rather than a 306?

The cheapest way I found was to pull the stuffing out of my Kanger Horizontal Coil cartomisers ( won't work with Boges )and drip into them.....the IGO is really easy to set up and a great way to start out on the re-wicking and coiling road

In my early days of vaping I bought a DSE905 so I use that with a 901 LR atomiser for testing liquids. Dave

Yes it is Addict, for 510/901 atomisers. 901's which as Dave says, are still one of my fav atomisers as well . . . but you'd need a 510/901 adapter for those, so I'd keep it straightforward and go for a 306 or 510 . . . if you don't want to get into rebuildables just yet.

Simple and straightforward is best for me. Can't see myself ever trying to rebuild anything (old dog, new tricks, etc). Shopping time again. There seems to be no end to this shopping for vaping equipment.
