I'm the one that sent Scott the cyclops for review.

I opted for one of the expensive USA mods and to be honest it was not worth the money to put it nicely. Needing something reliable i got the cyclops locally as i live in Thailand. I used it for a few months constantly first to try it and thought it would be a good idea to at least give the UK vapers a chance to get one. There is no middle man and taxes etc to take into consideration as this is just an e-cig mod guy making a mod to supply to the locals as e-cigs are illegal here and not too easy to get your hands on e-cigs.
I'm not involved in any way but pass info to and from the UK and Thai e-cig forums. Some vendor may not like it but it's no different than ordering stuff from China. I thought of a few different ways of getting this guys mod available in the UK and the best and cheapest was to get him to set up paypal and sell direct. I even went as far as to offer to carry some home and re-post but unfortunately i won't be home until the start of April.

Buy one today and receive 1 free pack of viagra.....only joking!!

Thanks Scylla i certainly will come back often.
I spent loads of time on other forum and this place was only pointed out to me by a kind member yesterday. So far it looks great.
I often look for help with e-cig related stuff and find forums are definately the best place to go. I therefore want to pass on and add anything positive when i can to help. As i live in Thailand i keep a good eye on developments here relating to e-cigs. They have several mods here which have to be cheap for the majority to afford and by far the best and reliable mod is the Cyclops or else i wouldn't have bothered passing on the info.
I look more than i post normally but thanks for the welcome .....feels a wee bit like being back home the last 2 days here coz it hasn't stopped pissing it down!!

What's it like in Thailand now for E-cig use in public..
I know to buy they're banned, but is it ok to use out and about? Would the boys in blue be liable to confiscate do you think?

I'm staying with my brother in Jomtiem in the summer, are these guys mods available locally anywhere near there, or d'ya have to get them via a website?

No chance of buying any e-cigs on the streets or in stores. They have a very friendly forum similar to this one and pics etc of various mods are available. There is a couple of ways to get the e-cigs here. You cantact them via the website and ask for bank details. Send the money via ATM and its normally gets to you the next day. The more popular vendors have paypal and internet banking is widely available here too.
Most vendors are in BKK and do their selling from home.
I would imagine no one would say too much if you were seen vaping in public but then again if they see a foreigner and they know about the e-cig ban (doubtful) then you would definately have to grease their palm.
They have the ego's, ego-t (same price as the UK), several locally made good mods using various battery sizes.

The light (inside the white top part) which is quite bright on mine (red) is the coloured part and the body is polished aluminum i guess to keep the price down. The prototype bodies were in colour only. I mailed the guy today to see about being able to supply the body in different colours but i guess he's in his room busy making new ones after Scotts review. If its the light in pink and the silver body then he will have one.
To answer your other question. The government guy who owns the patent on nic patches and gum is the same guy who banned them. Guess not enough of a back hander?

Why am I not surprised as to the reason why ecigs are banned in Thailand.

Once you've re-sized/adjusted your photo, C&P the IMG code ( 4th/last option ) on your post and the picture will appear on it.

Camper, we had a mayor here in Cumberland, who used to go on "fact finding" missions to Thailand. He claimed he was doing research, to help improve our town. Like what ?? How to skin a python or the best way to plant rice ?? LOL. Rhode Island and Thailand couldn't be more different.

We had an idea what he was really up to.
