I've had a sore throat since I started vaping, and finally worked out it's the PG in the Juice.
Problem I am finding is reducing the PG.
The Juices I like are generally high in PG, if I order them in 70% VG or higher I can't taste them anymore.
I have just counted, and I have 34 different juices (23 different flavours, the rest made up of different PG / VG mixes).
Out of that lot I use -
Go4Smoke, 22mg Peanut Butter Cookie (70 % PG) Cloud9Vaping, Cream, 24mg (80 % PG) Paradise Vapes, 18mg Peaches and Cream (50 % PG)
Any suggestions for a high VG juice, with similar taste as above ?

Been vaping an EGO for 2 weeks. PG gives me a sore throat and VG makes my chest/lungs wheeze. Think i prefer PG as VG produces too much vapour for me , which is probably causing the wheezing. Gonna try a 50/50 mix. Just starting to mix my own.

Hello & welcome Gary The sore throat might be due to the VG, or it could be due to giving up smoking or dehydration. Are you making sure you have upped your liquid intake?

I also found PG was harsh on my throat, but its seems that its all toned down,i now have 60/40 or 70/30 max and have no sore throat,it also might be that as youre not using a VV device that youre getting what i call a "hot throat hit" basically you cant adjust the voltage thus customising the throat hit.

I get through 2 litres of water during the day at work, doesn't seem to help my throat though - I just spend more time in the loo ;-)
Maybe I just need to get used to it, I'm only a month of Ciggies after all.
Edit - I have a VV Mod, sort of, I have a Kicked Bolt (Variable Wattage). Bit fiddly to adjust as you need to take out the battery to adjust it.
Currently the kick is not in it, I'm just using a standard 3.7V 18490 Battery.

It will take time to adjust, also if youre in an office its probs airconditioned and that will REALLY dry you out!
