Hi all ... I'm Julie, new to the forum but gave up a 40 a day habit in June last year thanks to the e-cig. Apologies if this has already been covered but I searched board for posts on side effects or joint pains and didn't find anything. Having recently tried a new juice my joint pains are back with a vengeance, knees are so bad I can hardly walk!! I had been using a VG mix my partner made up but didn't really like it so bought a juice from the internet which happens to be PG ... I don't think its a coincidence that my joints are so painful within a day or two of the change. So I was wondering if anyone can recommend a reputable supplier of VG based juice with a good tobacco flavour. I'm also interested to know if anyone else has experienced this side effect and whether changing to VG has helped them? Many thanks

You are so welcome Julie I'll also see if I can find you some links that mention joint pains as being a symptom of someone being allergic to PG.

Thank you Chrissie ... that is a very very interesting thread ... so I've ordered my VG juice and, after reading that thread, I'm now going to find a Royal Jelly supplier

I so hope that both the VG & Royal Jelly helps you Julie There are so many different opinions on PG, it's been proved to have many health benefits - especially due to it's anti viral properties, yet on the other hand some people can be allergic to it - bit worrying as it is found in so many everyday products that we use, for example, toothpaste, mouthwash, make-up to name a few. Then again, it's so strange because I've heard that PG can also trigger extra muscle/joint pain in ME sufferers. But I have ME & even though I mainly vape PG based e-liquids, if anything my pain has diminished since starting to vape.

Hi all ... I'm Julie, new to the forum but gave up a 40 a day habit in June last year thanks to the e-cig. Welcome Jools, well done on your e-cig success and thank you for joining us, I hope you'll come back and share your e-cig experiences - good, bad or indifferent I was going to post a link to iVapour's "PEG" based juices, which you could try if you don't get on with the VG - but the site is down for maintenance. Never mind. The PEG is even thicker but not as sweet as VG, and the vapour is somewhere between PG and VG. I hope your pain subsides PDQ (seein' as I'm into initials in this post ). scylla
