Hi I'm really sorry if this has already been asked. I tried the search but neither vivi nor nova has 5 letters and I can't get a hit. My question is are the CE5 and the mini vivi heads interchangeable? I couldn't resist trying the vivi so I bought one from vapers world (couldn't find a code) and the heads they sell say they are for both the ego and vivi. Is this true and If that's the case, why is the vivi supposed to be so much better if the atomisers are the same. I'm very confused and thank you for your patience

I don't know if they are or not, I have never bought a CE5, I do like the vivi nova's that I have used, both the mini and the normal hold a nice amount of juice with a nice taste to it. I am sure someone who uses both will be along shortly Comfrey to help you out

My wife has a ce5 I have a mini nova and a vivi nova v5 / stv. The ce range suffers a few problems like, only working when it wants to, leaking and either a tight or airy draw. sometimes you get a good one and you will have no problems with it.
The mini nova, IMO suffers from lower build quality. Although it out preforms the ce range and for some reason, even the vapour production on the mini beats the VN stv.
The pick of the bunch for me anyway, is the vivi nova v5 / stv. it is extremely well built even if it does share a couple of parts with the ce5. I have had no leaks, no temperamental vapes nothing, it just works.

Thanks Chillervapes The problem with the big thingy is I'm only little and I also have dexterity problems which is why I actually prefer the 650 battery because its smaller. So I was looking for something which works better than the ego, but still isn't gi huge. Also is the ce5 head I bought ok to use with the mini I bought? I have an awful habit of getting things which seem like a good idea at the time and then worry that I've messed up afterwards

The mini nova will work fine, just don't subdue it to any hard shocks like I did with mine, it takes forever to get it working again. Did you order a plinth too? With the CE5, you don't need one as the bottom covers the ego threads but the mini nova just screws on the inside bit and leaves the outside threads showing.
I don't think it gives the mini nova any more support but it kind of looks odd without one.

That will do the job just fine. as I said, it's 95% a cosmetic thing for the ego. On the lavatube v2 though, you actually need it so you can get air flow. I nearly bust a blood vessel the 1st time I tried using my mini nova on it lol

Hahaha. The biggest problem I have is with hubby. He should be renamed the killer of atties. So I am looking for the cheapest possible way to vape but with the best taste for him. Of course, as usual, because he considers vaping stuff "gadgets" it's my job to find the best possible equipment. He's not quite a luddite, but as near as dammit

I have a m.v.n. and some T3s and Vision V3s. Obviously the T3s are not interchangeable and the design of the m.v.n. heads and V3 heads are different. Is V3 the same as CE5. I'm just getting more and more lost these days. >

I'm not sure about the ce3 (not used one) but the v5 and the ce5 use the same heads whereas the mini nova is different. If you go to my site chillervapes.co.nr I have a review on the v5 and I compare the heads of the mn / v5 vn

Hi ChillerVapes
I just checked your site, enjoyed your VNv5 review, it’s really well laid out with great graphics & most important for me is that the whole review from start to finish is all on 1 page.
Should be a good reference point for those looking to buy as your list of reviews grows, well done.
I have an old VNv1 (the one that we all had to sand down the centre pin) & the air holes were on the edge of the base back then too.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I've been so busy these past few weeks I've not been able to add a review of the ce5 or the mini nova or my lavatube ( I do plan on doing one for everything I own / buy) but it's a bit more time consuming than a video review. I think theres loads of video reviews, not that many written ones though

That's a really great site A quick question though, if I may, I bought a spare head and it said it was compatible with the mini and the ce5, so I thought the heads were interchangeable. But then I read some stuff about having to modify them in order to do so. Which of course led to me getting my knickers in a twist. Here's the link www.vapersworld.co.uk/2-4ohm-replace-coil-head-for-ce5-vivi-nova-mini-nova/. Will I have to mess with it, because I have yet to play at modding equipment and I'm bound to mess up Thanks
