Hi all
I only joined AAEC a few days ago, what a fantastic forum. I wish I had found it ages ago.
I had a little dabble in DIY mixing ages ago but now want to get back into it.
I know the basics, but could do with a bit of help with a couple of things.
1. Is there a list anywhere as to the strength of various makes of flavourings, ie. the number of drops or %age to use as a starting point.
2. I like the idea of weighing ingredients rather than counting drops or measureing in a syringe. Does anyone have any conversion factors to use for various ingredients.
3. Would it be possible to get hold of the nice spreadsheet that many people seem to be using (especially the one that includes ml and weight.
Many thanks Alan

Hi all 1. Is there a list anywhere as to the strength of various makes of flavourings, ie. the number of drops or %age to use as a starting point. No there isn't Alan, mainly because everyone's idea of what is intense/weak is as differing as their tastes in ejuice. On ECF I found a recommended list for FA mixing concentrations . . . none of which I agree with, so it's very subjective.2. Does anyone have any conversion factors to use for various ingredients. www.convertunits.com/from/milliliters/to/grams Other than that I can't help, as drops/syringes are my prefered method.3. I'll email it to you, to the email address that you've registered on the forum with. Many thanks Alan Thank you for the kind words.

If you have an 'i' device, iPad - iPhone, theres an app called Liquix that gives you results in drops/ml/grams to your liking, good for saving recipes too.
