Here in Essex, i woke up this morning looked out the window to see a decent covering of snow everywhere. I have 3 cats. They were out all night as i had no idea we were get any snow. When i opened the back door it was like the charge of the light brigade!! #icon_rofl# then i got a severe telling off from Poppet the black and white chatterbox

Yes, it was a lovely surprise. The rest of my family hate the snow, but after living in Australia for 8yrs roasting in their heat, i love it. Our changing seasons was one of the big things i missed about this country. My daughter lives in Canewdon on top of that hill. Her oldest daughter is at high school and the the little one at infants school. Both of them had a day off because teachers couldn't turn get into work (or so they said) It didn't look THAT bad!! Nothing like last winter. Did you say you were in Thundersley?

Thought as much BC. I think the snow we have had today is a pretty lame excuse for not turning up. Felt sorry for my 12yr old grandaughter. She has to get on a school bus and walk a fair bit as the double decker can't get up the small street the school is in. Only to be told to go home!
